Check your background tasks, as it might be one trying to scan or to do some schedule task.

perhaps take a list of all the tasks from your task manager.
This is an example on my computer, my elgato control center is taking a lot of memory. way more then usual.
Look into the processes and startup tabs in the Task Manager
you can also check in the windows services and the check for service in auto start
validate all the service running and check what they mean, you might be running something you don't need.

check for startup stuff in task manager and if you cant see anything try looking through ccleaner as it has a nice way to see basically everything
