So I have to set my network (on Private) and allow File Sharing for Skybox App/Virtual Desktop on Quest 2.
But I don't want my PC open to roommates (Ain't that close, lol), and was wondering if there was way to keep it open for file sharing so those apps could do what they need, but also password protect my PC and/or folders or something to block access to others on the network?

the folder you are sharing go into the properties and then sharing and then advanced sharing and then permissions remove the everyone role and add your user account or make a new local windows account with a name you want and set a password. This will require a password on the device that is connected to the shared folder, if that's what your after?

if there is a general way of doing it to where my entire pc cant be accessed rather than each folder
