Try each RAM stick in each slot on the motherboard by itself, to rule out a bad stick or a bad slot. If that doesn't help its most likely a bad motherboard or a bad CPU, which can be hard to troubleshoot by yourself if you don't have matching spare components available.
If one of more slots are problematic reseating the CPU could help in some cases, but most likely that's also an issue with the motherboard or CPU.
If I didn't have components at hand this is one of the cases where I would have to resort to a professional repair shop to find which of those is the issue.
If you only have one RAM stick there's no easy way to tell if that is the issue either.
