I used spare pc parts to build a home local file server which I connect via network drive and control with vnc.
I started to host a minecraft server on the pc and later noticed that the mc server is offline. Checked and the pc had shutted down and restarted. No bluescreen. Event viewer says "Unexpected shutdown..". Nothing else explaining why. It shutsdown ocxasionally (about after 1-2 days of running, sometimes sooner). Thought the psu was dying as in the pc losing power since no bluescreen. (Changeds settings that it needs user input to continue if bluescreen, but pc skips this and shows lockscreen when it shutted down and restarted. Changed the psu from a 650 Bronze to a 750 Gold. Now it shuts down less often, but still shuts down.
No fix for thid found and cannot even have have the mc server autostart after it shuts down. Nothing works to launch it without user login first.

Does it do anything else other than a Minecraft server?

Well anything that would be just as resource intensive.
