#T7 shield issues

i recently got a T7 shield portable SSD, after a few hours of use it seems to randomly reconnect to my system
Trying to fix that first i tried to see if samsung magician would say anything useful, but it didn't even want to open, then i tried samsung's portable SSD specific software, which told me there was a firmware update, i clicked to update, it said it was done, but after reconnecting like it told me to it just said the same update was available
Any ideas?
