Hi Guys, i recently received a laptop from a friend of mine which he didn’t think would still work, it didnt boot at first, but after a while it got into windows, as if today, i press the power button, i hear a short fan spin, and the power button flashes 3 times, this is a Lenovo thinkpad X240
Any troubleshooting i can try?

might just be a dead board then unfortunately if u already tried all the resets and cmos clear for 30min

Hmmm
I’ll do some more trouble shooting tomorrow, it’s 2 am for me and this dingus decided to have a look inside of that laptop
I mean he did buy it second hand after all but it worked for a while
