Click on Start
Select Control Panel
Select Performance Information and Tools
Select Adjust visual effects
Go to the Visual Effects tab
Try and select the option for the best appearance, then apply.
It should not affect performance, at least not too much - otherwise you can change it back
(Don't mind my pc being danish :))
