Headset sounds crazy far when even a inch away from my mouth

i do a bunch of tech stuff with my computer and this has me dead ive looked for hours i did a new bios update i updated every last driver on my pc even checked websites for any new driver stuff i have looked at the realtek settings and all other setting in control panel and my task manager it just happened out of the blue when the headsets been working for a while now perfectly fine im stating to think the 3.5 mm port could be a damaged in a way

i also used a known good spare did the same thing also checked them on other devices and the issue went away

Easiest fix create new windows profile and check your headset on there
