If my motherboard is faulty and i get a new one, but my ssd and hard drives are still perfectly fine, is it a plug and play or do i need to install something after I rebuilt the pc?

Just as long as you didn't get an OEM windows licence which will stay on the motherboard, forcing you to buy windows again
