#Any way to remove a deep scratch from a laptop screen?

I have a small, but relatively deep scratch on the screen of my 2021 G14, its right in the middle of the screen and noticeable even at sitting distance, and especially in the sun, it drives me nuts way more than it should

Ive tried filling it with petroleum jelly to no avail (unless im doing it wrong?)

Ive gotten to the point of considering just ordering a new screen over this since it bothers me to the point of not enjoying using this thing, which is a shame because its a damn fine machine and a damn fine display.

Is there any other way i could try to mask this stupid scratch? Perhaps glass filler or something?

I guess so, yeah, but it really would be the more extreme option

I do have insurance on it, i could file a claim but i doubt itd be accepted over such minimal damage, plus not to mention the data loss unless i pulled out my ssd which i doubt theyd let me do
