I've always been watching youtube videos on my secondary monitor while playing games on my primary. Recently though, the videos will start to lag as soon as I go into the game, and stay at 4-5 fps. I have done a lot of googling and troubleshooting, and I have tried the following:
-Different browsers
-Disable hardware accel
-Clear standby ram
-Try the game in full screen/borderless/windowed. Sometimes it helps putting it in windowed mode, but that is not very nice.
My setup is 5800x/RX 6800/32gb ram, so I should be good there. I did some troubleshooting just now with task manager, and found that while the ram usage in chrome remains intact when tabbing in and out of the game, the cpu will go from 11% chrome usage while chrome is the active tab, to 1% when the game is active. I have no idea how to allow background programs to use more cpu, or if it's possible to allocate it in some way. Any ideas?
Thanks!
