iirc to get 4k 240hz you would need to use the HDMI 2.1 and enable DSC

Don't quote me on this but I think dp 1.4a can also do 4k 240hz with DSC enabled

Either way you need to enable DSC

I was told DSC is enabled by default and is more so of an active feature with 1.4

Look inside your monitors OSD and make sure it's enabled
