In an attempt to get an older computer running some games, switched the AMD Athlon II X2 250 two core processor for an Athlon II X4 645 quad core. I did some research and saw that other people did not have issues with upgrading to this specific CPU in this prebuilt. It's an Dell Inspiron 570. Motherboard is a Dell 04GJJT. Do I need to update the drivers or something? I've tried going into MSCONFIG but it only shows 2 cores out of the 4.
