if i'm not mistaken the a8's use clustered cores (similar to hyperthreading, but not exactly) in a 2x2 configuration so each "core" has 2 threads which are the actual cpu cores. notice the logical processors being 4. I believe somewhere in your bios you'll have a multi-threading option that when disabled will split back into 4 separate cores but I'm not sure which would be better performance.
