Well, finding a copy of the software, for one.. Contacting the team to add the IP/domain to their system.
I'm not talking about client, I'm talking about server. Their system seems overloaded, it should be easier to spin up a new one.
It appears they only have 18 online.
I don't see any reason why the server-side couldn't be distributed as well.

Well there are a number of reasons why they can't run it on a p2p method. Such as the fact that every WU is unique. Due to the nature of the work and the fact that one dodgy WU can fuck up a massive chain of others they need to fully validate the results of each WU before the next one in the chain is released. And for the same reason why they don't release the cores as opensource is to stop people tricking the FOLDING network to get them rewarded points when they haven't done the work. And there will be many more reasons. Him Dr Greg Bowman on twitter to see if you can give them a hand with a server

Passkeys are taking a few hours to be distributed. Passkeys can be added at any time from the Change Identity menu. Check your Spam folders; Google and Yahoo's filters might be filtering them due to the increase in emails.
If you have been waiting for more than 24 hours for a Passkey try requesting it again. Some people have noted this to work. (Do not spam it!)
