1 = floor number, 2 = IDF number, D = patch panel ID, F042 = ID of where the jack is located in the building... theres a grid system and a map to locate the spot. this lets you reverse lookup the location when you see a port in an IDF

All based on Cat5 cable and 802.3bt can do up to 100watts but I'm not sure it's implemented yet. 44 to 57 volts is the range that all PoE supports to some level

Btw, can a 50-ish ft run of RG59 with RG6 on both sides of it kill a modem's chance of a connection? I've got a clean RG59 cable that's roughly 40 years old in the wall that I'm going to re-run soon, but a while ago the connection died, claiming all kinds of BS, like not being able to communicate with the ISP to grab an IP, yet still being fully capable of locking into the downstream and upstream channels... though the SN ratio is 32 when it should be at least 35-40+...

I had a SB8200 and IPv6 worked perfectly on their top tier plan (400/30)
I upgraded to 940/40 plan and IPv6 no longer worked because they didn't provision the plan properly for IPv6 because copy/paste is hard
