i dont mind the kidneys up until the new 7/x8 series where they just get silly
Why they are "optional"
really i did not know that
They are required in some states. Not in others.
And many just don't bother with them.
As in, they don't use them when it is required.
They just take the warning/ticket.
Ibstill don't understand why front license plates in Switzerland and Italy are smaller
I know that you can order smaller ones here in Sweden as well. But we generally just have the normal EU size.
Like it's so weird having a super tiny license plate on full size ones
@civic spoke oo u mean the American size ones
They are pretty popular in poland
More like auto cucumber
the middle one has I belive 5 symbols
but the symbols are full size
I just hate typing on my phone because it's too large
Small plates are only allowed in π³π± for US imports etc
The car needs a special note on the cars papers, otherwise it's illegal
Well
In Poland it's technically legal to have small plates on normal cars
At least back then when I was still living there
Wing game.
Lime green
And his Senna.
I like how out of those five cars, the most ordinary one is the AMG GTR
You know what's funny? The Senna and the GT aren't even the most rare cars there.
Both the McLaren 620R and the GT2RS MR are more limited.
rarest car
This is our in-depth review of the VW ID.3. We're taking a look at Exterior, Interior and the driving experience.
Transparency note: AutogefΓΌhl videos are independent and free from editorial influence on opinion and rating. But since manufacturers enable us to do the reviews ...
Lots of cars in the driveway
Lots of cars in the driveway
@civic girder i approve of the panther body
i approve of the panther body
@devout atlas that's the police coming to confiscate his cars

Oh god that's horrible in the ID.3 ... to roll down the rear windows, you first need to press a button rear and then, you can roll them down π©
Also: gloss black plastic at a part you constantly touch, that's just going to scratch like crazy
Meh using seperate buttons for the rear would hardly make the unit bigger, just so much more convenient
Apparently also the steeringwheel controls are horrible
I know the Infotainment was, but the other cars still have a steeringwheel which makes sense with physical buttons... This one has touch sensitive buttons as well with no logic behind it
So basically, the ID.3: great (value) EV with a horrendous infotainmentsystem and ergonomics
That kinda sucks.
And I read up about the 3 year free charging that they offered.
It actually isn't free charging. SHOCKER
You have to sign up to a different power provider. And they will deduct a certain amount each month. Which would be basically enough to over the charge required to go 14,000 km's each year.
But that doesn't mean free charging. smh.
The only thing they offer here is 6 years of free maintenance
But EVs barely have maintenance

(and ofc it doesn't include stuff that wear)
Mhmm.
The only real wear items on EV's are windshield washer fluid/wipers and tires.
And the suspension parts.
Well no that's not covered
That's wear

So I guess... Brake fluids?
Air filter maybe
(for the cabin)
And that's it
Don't really like this part.
Why do they even make you go into the engine options if there are no options?
And the big battery is only available with the Tour version?
But then you also only get 4 seats. Instead of 5?
Well then.
Oof did they add versions to it?
When I checked, it was 1st only
And no engine options, only battery
But they didn't display the Battery size

It's like packages.
Life, Style, Business, Family, Tech, Max, Tour.
Those seven.
I'm guessing that the ID.3 1st was the release version, for those that pre-ordered it.
Yes it was
Out of the seven versions I mentioned. Only the Tour comes with the big battery.
Ofcourse it does
I honestly would prefer the ID.3 with the 18 inch rims.
Tour is 19?
Yeah
The 19 inch rims.
18 inchers.
The best option for the ID.3 is probably to just go with the most basic version.
Idk, the most basic 1st was quite shite
And, they almost didn't made any
They don't want to sell it

1st Plus was reasonable
Actually I know a dealership which had the allocation for 500 ID.3's of which 20 the base model and all other the Plus/Max
Base non-1st model gets stuff like single zone AC, iirc steelies etc
It's quite rubbish
Ah my bad then
Well dual zone is better for efficiency
Kia's have a Driver Only mode for example, only heating/cooling the driver when alone
Doesn't have to work as hard -> increases range
ID.3 doesn't have a heat pump which is also sad
Is the new explorer out yet?
I saw it in Europe
Germany
Id.3 looks nice in this colour, I saw it in white driving in Wolfsburg
Is the new explorer out yet?
@drowsy ruin yes
Ooo
Id.3 looks nice in this colour, I saw it in white driving in Wolfsburg
@drowsy ruin that's the only correct color
You like the white one?
U Dutch?
Yes
Same
Ja
VW
VW is nice

They own alot of car brands tho
@devout atlas that's the police coming to confiscate his cars
@stoic ledge good either way
Volkswagen Schwimmwagen
Defo
I heard a id.1 is coming
@drowsy ruin next gen e-up!?
@civic spoke These look like steelies to me
Huh. Where did you find that?
Not available here in Sweden.
That's German for Steel Wheels
Here in Sweden we have three options for rims. 18, 19, and 20 inch. All alu rims.
And these are the 19/20s
I'd honestly go with the 18 inchers we get over here.
That's the German configurator, idk yet what the Dutch one is like.... you can only spec the 1st there since they aren't all sold out yet
Steelies are a immediate no-go for me
Germany has the following trims:
- Pro
- Life
- Business
- Family
- Style
- Tech
- Max
- Pro S
- Tour
To keep it simple lol
Two more than us.
Ah the Pro seems to be the 55kWh model? (426km WLPT range?)
We don't have the Pro/Pro S.
Pro S the 77kWh or what is the larger one called (549km WLTP)
Only the Tour has the larger battery for us.
So Pro and Pro S are like the 2 base models
I shall try to make a visual distinguishment
Surprisingly enough, the Max is cheaper. But more expensive to lease?
Compared to the Tour.
- Pro
- Life
- Business
- Family
- Style
- Tech
- Max
- Pro S
- Tour
Yeah. I get it. "Pro S" are the ones with the larger battery.
Ah based on the Pro S
Yes I see
Same in Germany
"Your upgrade of long distances"

I want an interior shot of the tour. With the rear seats.
Yes. It can
There's a showroom here in Stockholm. I guess I could try and visit that.
I'm going to wait for my friend to take possession of his
They announced a delivery party the 20th of September
Delivery Party for all ID.3 1st orders

They said "this summer" so 20th of September is "this summer".... literally the last day but it is summer
The Life rim is the entry level for us.
Priced "From 434,900 kr"
More expensive for us.
25%, I think?
OOF
π³π± has 21%
Ok, so I'd go for minimum the Business spec, since it has LED matrix, back-up cam and alloy wheels
β¬41287.22
I did the math, and it checks out.
Ah ok, makes sense then
I did the Maths to π³π± for the 1st as well, Germany was cheaper
326,175 SEK pre-VAT.
Dutch importer really screws you over
16% VAT means it would become 378,363
Aka, right in the ball park for the German price.
Don't forget you need to add β¬638.49 for the alloy wheels on zhe german version
There are probably a bunch of small options here and there added as well.
The only options I would personally want are the 18 inch rims, and carpeted floor mats.
Probably stuff like heated seats I'd imagine
Carpeted ones. I guess basic rubber ones are standard?
The base model has a radio called Radio βReady 2 Discoverβ, idk what that looks looks like
The Swedish configurator.
Ah maybe that's something for the Swedish market, with more snow? Idk
Hmmm your Tour is a 4 seater, I'll check that for Germany if it's 4 or 5
Yeah. heated front seats is standard for us.
Not seeing that as standard in the german spec
Having a really basic model with steelies, etc. Is helpful to bring down the base price.
Yes but they probably won't be happy to sell it
Makes it easier for them to advertise it as a cheaper car.
Of the 1st, 20 of the 500 were the base model
heated seats is part of the Komfort-Paket (Comfort-Package)
Heated steering wheel is standard for us.
Oh, the ID.3 does have a heat pump.
Part of the standard equipment for us.
Having fewer options is honestly just a good thing for VW.
Makes it cheaper for them to produce in the long run.
Not seeing a 4 seater option/spec/... for the Tour/Pro S in germany
Makes it cheaper for them to produce in the long run.
yes, but they still sell it in other markets without
Heat pump with active battery heating and cooling

Honestly a must for warm/cold climates.
Or is that just for the battery and not the interior?
Possibly both?
Hmmm it is under Interior / comfort
But the heat pump is likely for both the battery and interior.
Could be
I've asked my buddy who ordered one
He claimed it didn't have one
And he knows people inside VW π³π±
Looks to be optional for some.
πΈπͺ

I'll summarize his message:
- Pure (300-ish km range): no heat pump
- Pro (which the first was): not standard/available, possibly optional in the future/on different markets
- Pro S: heat pump standard
They wanted to keep the full-option price in π³π± under the 45K, since that gives tax benefits for company car drivers.... and the heat pump would have made it too expensive
Inb4 CEO of VW
@wheat hatch
He isn't
He does have an e-up! now
Sweden gets A LOT more as standard. That's for sure.
Nice
πΈπͺ
Yes, that's not even on our website
Hmmmmm a Polo 1.0 TSI DSG with stuff you expect from a car nowadays: β¬ 34.732
ID.3 1st: β¬37.990

You'd be stupid to go for a Polo
base 1st might be a bit less feature rich, but not much
And you get money back from the government.
That money fund is already spended here

They had like a jar of money, which was enough for 4000 cars
4000 cars/year

50% was gone in the first 24h
End the rest within a week
Getting a ID.3 makes a lot of sense.
Imagine having β¬45k to spend on a car
I'd have to finance it, or go for a lease.
They wanted to keep the full-option price in π³π± under the 45K, since that gives tax benefits for company car drivers.... and the heat pump would have made it too expensive
@stoic ledge ok apparently that was their goal, but they didn't succeed... the mid-level 1st Plus is <45k, the top level 1st Max is just under 50k
I'd have to finance it, or go for a lease.
OOF
I'll stick with my Corsa for now
As long as the most basic model is under the 45k mark. It counts. I think.
That's what Tesla did with their Model 3 "Short range" model.
And then, after a year or 2.... a used Insignia 16 Turbo
As long as the most basic model is under the 45k mark. It counts. I think.
Here it doesn't, it's based on the actual price of the specific car
It'll still be extremely cheap to have as a company car tho
Oof I don't see that one... only one I see is a governement vehicle used to transport elderly people around town
But Model 3, Kona and Niro, e-Golf... everywhere
Best "selling" car last year was the Model 3.... only since it was basically free to drive
29.948 units, 6.65% market share
(dropped to 1,69% this year)
Kia Niro is at the moment the best selling car here... almost all e-Niro's
It's amazing to see how over 10% of new cars are EV's now... that's quite an improvement from over a couple of years ago
Most sold car to private customers for 2018 was the VW Golf.
And now the Corsa-e, e-208, e-2008, e-up!, ID.3... are all joining
Soon the 500e
Most sold car to private customers here was the Renault Captur iirc

Since the Captur is very popular with the elderly people... and those are the only people who can afford a new car privately
Sold total / Sold to private person / % sold to private person
So 90% of the Volvo S/V90 are all companies.
Total July sales 26.051, so 10.7% EV
That's not bad.
1 VW Touareg registerd this month
1 Toyota Land Cruiser
Thonk the Jaguar i-Pace hasn't sold any cars the last 3 months
Nyregistreringar
Heh
Volvo literally has 4 spots in the top 5.
Yes
Dutchies don't seem to go for a Volvo as quick as an Audi/BMW/Merc... which is a shame imho, Volvo's are such nice cars
1 Compass
That's for June, no>
2020-06 - 2020-06
Yeah
Speaking of EVs, Im going with the VW e-up
I know
I'd probably hate the VW eUP. As good as it might be.
Terrible for the longer distances I drive. Spending like an hour getting home from work.
More EVs than diesels in 2020
Although Hydrogen cars (waterstof) are apparently also under EV (elektriciteit)
Since this month, 5 Nexo's have been registered, 5 > 1
Oh, I can't even configure an eUP
Aren't they phasing out the UP?
Refreshing the model soon?
They're only building x amount to stay under the CO2 limit
EV market share:
- 2015: 0.5%
- 2016: 1%
- 2017: 1.7%
- 2018: 4.9%
- 2019: 13%
- 2020: 9.1%
also fleet CO2 is calculated on actual registrations, not on cars built
@turbid onyx yes, but they're only producing/registering just enough to get under the CO2 limit
Wheels can go on any car.
I would probably also have a look at the eGolf. If it didn't have such a crappy range.
Not really, I know Merceder etc used them

You can probably find one based on part number
What Becker radio do you have?
It's either a petrol, or an EV for me.
I can only find the remote for that system

The generic one does
(7944)
Apparently
Have you tried contacting Becker (Harman)?
It's funny following both APEX and Shmee.
Shmee uploading older stuff to his Instagram, where as APEX uploads live.
APEX Nurburg.
Taxi/Rental/Hotel near Nurburgring.
They have three options for Taxi laps. Two 2 seater cars, one 4 seater.
Mclaren 620R, Porsche 911 GT2RS MR, and then the BMW M3 GT
These are the rear seats of that M3.
Apart of aestetic, I see no point in the Taycan. Its in no discipline regarding EVs better than a Tesla
Way less space, slower acceleration and slower max speed for more money.
They have a higher quality product compared to Tesla.
Speaking of conservative interior design, yes.
Read or watch any review. And they will talk about how it still feels like a Porsche.
Because of the sound which emulates an "engine"
Thats what I mean by aestetic.
Some people just like it.
But speaking of price:performance, Tesla wins all categories. And even just by performance, they do.
You can get Two Model S for one Taycan. And the Model S can - In some variants - accelerate faster even.
And heat isn't an issue anymore. You can start-stop on the track as often as you want.
It feels like a Porsche because it is a Porsche. I don't see any special point about that.
A Tesla feels like a Tesla, because it is a Tesla...
Its simplistic in interior and everything can be controlled over the Tablet.
But the price category for both cars is way above what I could afford.
I'm going with my e-up for now and in future someday want to get a CyberTruck. Price:performance at its best for heavy duty EVs.
I will still say that the Taycan is a more engaging car to drive. And overall a more premium product.
A Taycan is not put together by orangutans
^^
will flex tape help http://prntscr.com/torycx ?
Price difference between the Model S Performance and Taycan 4S is not as stupid as with the Taycan Turbo S.
Model S Performance gets up in the $110k price.
My car goes vroom
Cool
Not allowed anymore. Not with the filters and everything.
Isn't the new petrol particle filter removing them pops and crackles?
If your piston goes explosion there's something wrong with your engine
Like... Totalled

You can get Two Model S for one Taycan. And the Model S can - In some variants - accelerate faster even.
And heat isn't an issue anymore. You can start-stop on the track as often as you want.
@fathom socket life isn't all about accelerating
Tesla interiors are super fucking boring
Model 3 WILL be under 7k in 5 years
5 wheels, 4 interior options, 6 paint colours. thousands sold
no real choices in the used market because the options are so limited and all cars look the same
Taycan on the other hand
Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur stuff
I don't like the side profile of the taycan tho
droops too much for me
Front is stunning, but the side profile of the hood meh xd
roof is also at too much of an angle for me
rear idk
I would say spice it up
It's just positive for electro conversions for old cars that the Model 3 will get cheap on the used
EV's will hold their values better than ICE vehicles. Because of the bomb cost that comes with the batteries, etc.
Or whatever it's called.
Used market, and taycan is also an EV
But nah, glass
you're right but
Model 3
THERE ARE MILLIONS
and not a single one unique
when they hit the used market, there's no USP
that'll take the price down
Model 3 will be real affordable in a couple of years. That's for sure.
Yes
7k
under 7k in 5 years
I'm calling it
now
The problem is the minimal amount of options, but that's also why it's cheaper to manufacture
Well, I'm not getting an EV anytime soon
I don't even have a turbo haha
The EVs will leave more gas for the rest of us
(planning to one day put a 190E body on a W211 E55 platform haha)
@stoic ledge Wanna help me do that lol
Also
Model 3 + Model 3 + Model 3 +190E body = blithering fast 190E that'll wheelspin even on the highway
Eh. Isn't the Model 3 a lot wider than the 190E?
Unless you want it to look like that.
Eh. Isn't the Model 3 a lot wider than the 190E?
@civic spoke I'll make it work haha
You'd probably have to stick the engine straight on the diff or something like that.
And split up the batteries.
Taking old cars and making them better is a part of American culture: the hot rod. In this episode of State of Repair, Jim Belosic takes a 1981 Honda Accord and makes it electric... and very fast.

The wheels looks so stupid.
190E is 1.69(nice)m wide, model 3 is 1.85m
1.72 for the EVO II
Hmm,
50mm
on each wheel
custom wheels might be able to fix a lot
idk tbh maybe I'll go full custom solution
This is one of the meanest looking Foxbodies.
@stoic ledge Wanna help me do that lol
@median egret not abusing that mint 190E you have
Taking a test for 'Rona antibodies tomorrow.
@fathom socket life isn't all about accelerating
@median egret
Is life also not about (interior) space? And price?
And speaking of The Model 3, until now, I only saw about 2 total in Germany. At least where I drive....
It's also about certain qualities. Else everyone would just get a Toyota Corolla.
I'll take the CT
The Model 3 all look the same because the people do not care apparently.
I mean, its not like there wouldn't be a great tuning community which also tunes Tesla and others EVs.
And you can differentiate yourself very much using paint.
The first thing I think about the word wrap is the thing u get at McDonalds
Why go with default paint if you could go with something like.... This?
Would you pay $5,000 for a wrap?
Why would you pay double the price for that your car just looks different from the outside?
I'd stick with white
I stick with olive and matt black
Or nardo grey
I'd stick with british racing green
Nice
@median egret not abusing that mint 190E you have
@stoic ledge not this one I'll get another one hh
Or nardo grey
@drowsy ruin did you mean: primer?
@indigo coral Doesn't that also go by another name?
This colour
@drowsy ruin so primer
not that i know of @civic spoke
Jewish racing gold? π€
Ahh.
mines got silver badges

http://images.gtcarlot.com/pictures/7377583.jpg
Is does have a loadcover tho
http://images.gtcarlot.com/pictures/7377573.jpg
Oh god, those badges are horrible
I would rock this.
I'd drive something like that if road tax wasn't like β¬150/month

Also, rather like a 2006 LS or something
First and second gen are the real baller ones.
They have real luxury presence to me.
Idk, personally I'm not feeling it for that generation
Second generation.
That's better, depending on the trim etc
Matt Farah's Million Mile Lexus just happen to break down right near my house in Chicago. As busy as I was I couldn't resist the opportunity to look over a car with one million miles. In this video, I inspect the Million Mile Lexus on my lift and we scan it for codes. What I ...

Speaking of Lexus. The LC500 is a big want.
As long as it's the LC500, and not the LC500h
Do it
I'd take an LC500h.
Meh it starts at β¬125k... That's a bit too steep imho
No doubt about that
There isn't really a price difference between the 500 and 500h over here.
Difference is V8 and V6 for the hybrid.
It's one of the few NA cars in that price range.

but stainless steel
is not stainless
It's quite easily stained imho
Did it rain? Oh damn, the panels are ruined
drying up in the wrong way can get marks and stripes all over the panels
Won't the cybertruck have a clear coat at least?
No, I don't think so
DMC12 also didn't have that right
Stainless steel is great material, but it's tough, not strong when compared to carbon steel.
That's why I think that
you'd still break your neck when your cybertuck
and if you don't break your neck,
it'll break your wallet
No clearcoat, no paint available
as it's the whole unibody you'd have to replace idk what they want
Musk said if you want colors, too bad get it wrapped
Or take it to an actual paint booth.
Unibody(exoskeleton), it's just, it's unique and unpractical
one crash would have you replace the whole thing
The Delorean looks weired painted.
DMC12 was also stainless steel bodywork, but at least you could swap out the panels
The Delorean looks weired painted.
@civic spoke it's meant to be grey
it really is
They would probably do it for the meme.
Linus' new car, the Tesla Cybertruck.
Sponsored by Tesla and dbrand
ποΈπποΈ
unauthorized paint work = warranty void and no supercharging on Tesla @civic spoke
Hah. Linus would never be sponsored by Tesla.
Tesla won't even allow you to put on different wheels.
yup
wtf okay
The car will freak out
I'd probably weld on my own bodywork panels if i had a cybertruck
XD
Cut sheet metal, bend, weld, pickling, weld to car, pickling
and done
It's a ramp car now
Or weld wings on idk
whatever you desire
Bring your cybertruck here, and get the papers sorted because I am not responsible for your illegal wishes
Also I don't know but the looks of the cybertruck have grown on me
If I had one I'd just
I'd do one thing,
which is
lower it
π€
jk I'd sell it and buy myself a proper car
like a W201 2.5-16
hehe
Linus' new car, the Tesla Cybertruck.
Sponsored by Tesla and dbrand
@median egret Linus will never get a Tesla
yh idk
@MK#9829
A yes or a no
I probably won't do that
haha
@stoic ledge
But I like it
Kinda looks like small DTM wheels
unauthorized paint work = warranty void and no supercharging on Tesla @civic spoke
@indigo coral huh, really?
that's bull
tesla is anticonsumer as hell
you are supposed to own the car, it's not a bloody lease
Wouldn't surprise me if it was the case.
A yes or a no
@median egret do it
you're not renting it from tesla
they said if you modify the car to enable features they'll press charges too
tesla is anticonsumer as hell
@indigo coral yep, I see that
Sounds like Ferrari.
you are supposed to own the car, it's not a bloody lease
@devout atlas it would be a shame... If some features for disabled
Tesla is worse than ferrari
Oi you have a warranty on that device, but it breaks a lot? Here, we'll cut that warranty in half

^^^^

literally happened
yep
ridiculous af
Put an electric motor in a panther body
@stoic ledge and ruin it?

I know, a torquey electric motor would do good in a panther
but
v8 sounds
murica
Just add some speakers
lol

3000x better looking than a Model 3
why call it a mustang?
the model 3 looks like it was finished too early
The Tesla looks like a fish bowl

great
now I have to drive a whining yaris
because the headlight motor has failed
I just need to get permit and get my own car
They're pricey everywhere in Europe.
It's a massive car that has a massive engine that puts out a ton of emissions.
I wouldn't mind a 1960 Eldorado. Smaller fin, but still looks excellent.
@median egret do it
@stoic ledge
if you buy me w123 wheels
I wish tesla wasn't such a scummy company
@indigo coral i just wish musk wasn't transphobic
@stoic ledge
if you buy me w123 wheels
@median egret no.
oh please
No.

hm
ok guys ive had a thought
24 hour EV race
recharging is allowed
so having faster charging/strategy/longer range = more laps
Basically create car with reswappable battery -> profit
honestly, that wouldn't be that hard
you're designing a race car, so there's not many restrictions really
It'd be like Formula-e but they only have one car with a swappable battery
Like, the Toyota Prius has a pretty easy to swap battery. Easy in the grand scheme anyway
yeet the back seats and back interior trim pieces, and then the battery comes right out
can't do that in a Tesla
Renault had a car with swappable batteries
The idea didn't catch on
The change station company went bankrupt
But it is possible
Apparently some Nissan Qashqai prototypes as well
Well the company who did the above went bankrupt as well... So no success
Swappable batteries are fine and dandy till the automaker starts offering different sizes.
Suddenly your Tesla P100D becomes a P60D on a road trip... then a P85D.
what's this computer nonsense
where's my screwdriver, I'll get them screws set on the ye olden carb
I think the only regulation would be disallowing battery changes
ye
My 2 beauty's
@tacit vale break my wallets i see
I wonder how many decent RX-7s I could buy for the cost of one repair bill on those
I wouldn't mind an F10 5 series.
you can thank me later for this cursed imagery
First time I visit this channel ever, I get greeted with this. Cool
@civic girder yea but they dont go wrong, ever, unlike rx7s
@civic girder got the grey one repaired last month for 3200$
Classic
SsangYong
Bascially Korean car
Moth of those SsangYongΕ used (licence build) Mercedes diesel engines
Not the best cars, but quite cheap, not terrible, could tow a lot and quite reliable
can't do that in a Tesla
@civic girder
Hah
give me a tesla and a good speedbump
the landing will cause the battery to loosen(read:break) from the car
That doesn't seem good
Alt least km per β¬
When it comes to use some public chargers in poland
Well that's also extremely high
I'm not a Tesla fan, but to achieve that you must've been flooring it continuesly
Tesla are actually still the most efficient EVs
I floored the shit out of the Model 3 I drove

Thonk
Using 7.4kWh for 16km is nuts
ThatΕ 46.25kWh/100km
That's like 3 times what they do on average
I'm not sure how that is cursed.

I'd wager BMWs are about as sketchy as rotaries in terms of reliability. Rotaries are certainly easier to work on and repair. $3200 repair bill? That's actually more than a rotary rebuild + port job.
Older BMWs are probably more reliable, but I wouldn't count on anything at least 2000 or newer being "reliable"
what are you guys thoughts on japanese luxury brands?
why dont more people buy them if reliability is such a major concern?
arent german luxury cars just made to be leased?
Lexus are pretty much the most reliable, acura I dunno as Australia has Honda only but should be good, Infinity
infiniti, the company that cant sell a crossover in a world where everyone wants a crossover
their interior is outdated. but good material
Infinity is Nissan, so ofc it's trash.
Acura is Honda, so about as good.
Lexus is Toyota, so it's obviously good
German cars are....don't bother.
VW is about the only thing I'd consider dabbling in, but even then, there are better options
First speedtail in us! Not my photo
Right now. I'd say Acura products are a step behind Honda's. Apart from the MDX and RDX which do get attention.
TLX, ILX, RLX and whatever else is a generation behind Honda's stuff.
oh wait... I just covered every single car apart from the NSX...
Also... somehow Acura's corporate styling is... not great. Especially the 12/10s sized emblem.
@modest forge Would love a Toyota Century.
Yeah the Toyota century is the ultimate Yakuza boss mobile ngl
Also I like the way the genesis g90 looks
Also, that speedtail rear end is a thing of beauty
am i gonna have to say how much i like the lc500 again?
@flint sable Think that is Manny Khosbin's speedtail

The #NissanSentra has been one of the longest running compact car names here in America. Un...
I mean you could theoretically not have a head gasket and not have issues if you groove the block and head for fire rings
might have oil and coolant mixing but the compression should stay in the cylinder
Can we get a few f in the chat
Sentra' have always looked really nice on the outside
the inside imo has been very dated
Tryna get my c63's paint protected, what are the big differences between ceramic coating and ppf?
New Sentra looks great inside.
Ceramic is basically a super charged wax. It's a coating you apply in liquid form.
PPF is Paint Protection Film. It's basically getting your car wrapped.
So super wax vs. vinyl sheets.
Clear vynil wrap vs. hard coating basically
Both work
The only problem I can see with ppf is that UV can damage it, like any other clear plastic it yellows over time. Not a lot, but it does happen.
From what I understand moder PPFs don't really have that issue.
Both protective features will require upkeep over time.
People be frothing over Hondaβs and Iβd be like thatβs cute hereβs proper jdm
It's still a nice EUDM Honda tho.
And remember. USDM does have a following in Japan.
I wasnβt pointing to him as such but Americans go crazy over Hondaβs
They also go crazy over 240sx, Skylines, Supras, and the what have you.
or was it 240x... anyway.
None will match the AE86 for whatever reason.
To us Hondaβs are paddock bashers or derby cars
yes I'm aware.
Ooofttt
everybody likes a good panther body
