I'd never buy a daily without an airbag
tbh
what's an airbag? is this that "safety" the kids talk about these days?
@civic girder time to get impaled by the steering rack
i'd daily a 1969 caddilac eldorado
it'd need good crumple zones and I'd make sure the brakes are in perfect working order and setup for the best possible stopping distance
because I'd have to crash into a building to break that thing
Just drive defensively, obey traffic laws, and don't be stupid. Do that and avoiding an accident is fairly easy, hard part is being aware enough to avoid idiots with a deathwish
precisely
hence, the best first car for me would either be a crown vic or a grand marquis
They're nice
My buddy's 89 LTD is still the most comfortable car I've ever driven/ridden in
and ofc its an American tank. Another car you'd have to crash into a building with to die
I'd want one from after 90
for the sweet standard airbags
the cheapest panther bodies always tend to be police interceptors
hmm
The panther body is much more modern yea, but I prefer the 80s ones just for the boxy look and the sweet velour interior
plus you can get them with carburetors, the superior fuel delivery method
lmao
it comes as a package deal with my rotary addiction
When I get a Previa tho, it will stay efi just cause a carb swap would be a nightmare.
and daily is staying EFI because hybrid carb car sounds like another nightmare
but if I get a Z31, and the rotary swap truck project are fair game for carb swap
muh fuel injection
muh actual good fuel delivery systems
literally me
fuel injection is superior, no doubt about it. I like to say carbs are better just for the memes.
but for real, I do like carbs more because they sound better
To me, fuel injected cars have a muffled flat, almost monotone-esc sound
But carbs have a succ and more raw/pure sound imo
turbo also overrated imo since they almost always sound bad, and you don't need power or whistle noises to be cool or have fun
classic v8 cars with an aggressive cam and direct fire ignition swap sound sooooo good
and ofc 4 barrel carb
I'd love me a Mercury Cougar or a 69 Charger
classic inline motors with side drafts also sound really good
I am still thinking about L24 swapping a Z31 if I do get one.
L24, the original Z motor
straight 6, triple carb, factory side drafts, 7k rpm
Legit one of the best sounding motors of all time
the reason fuel injected cars don't have succ sound is because they usually have one throttle body
ITBs give succ sound, like individual carbs do
yea, you can get a succ with itbs, but its not the same
the exhaust note is still like normal efi
and sometimes, usually dependent on the setup, it'll be more high pitched and less carb-like
Legit one of the best sounding motors of all time
@civic girder big blocc 7l v8?
I'm not real familiar with my v8 motors
all I know are a hand full of inline motors and know my rotaries like the back of my hand
Technically, there's only 3 different Mazda engines
the 1L 10A, the 1.2L 12A, and the 1.3L 13B
most other engines are variations of those
such as the 12A turbo, 13BT (t for turbo), 13B-REW (twin turbo), the 20B is just a 13B with an extra half a 13B bolted to it, and the R26B 4 rotor racing engine is basically just two 13Bs bolted together
big blocc
even the RX-8's Renesis is just a super fancy 13B
Buy it.
7L big block swap
do it
@devout atlas yes, 2
@turbid onyx which oneI've seen a MiTo gauge cluster if I'm not mistaken
Wait that 8C was yours
👀
Pls give

Nice combo, 300k 8C + 20k MiTo
Das a lot of red
Red is nice
The trickle charger is a nice touch
lol ofc not
That sounds fun
My parking brake doesn't even work atm
Everything sounds angry in Italian
I've got no clue what it says xD
Yeah German as well 😛
Ah
Nice
Electronic parking brake?
Ah ok
No more handbrake turns

True
Damn I wish I could afford an 8C convertible
Yeah true
But still, that engine...
RWD
The looks
That's part of the engine

Did you just roll through a stop sign 👀
Nice acceleration tho
a mito and an 8c spider
@turbid onyx 8C? where do you live, and how do I become your butler?
I own an alfa too
it's just stuck in forza 4

how does looking at the 8c feel?
how does touching it feel?
well
I'm a college student
who'd kill to get a panther body
XD
ye
the panther platform
grand marquis, crown vic, marauder, p71 interceptor
etc
etc
yes, I'd imagine
seeing that they're absolute chonkers
Like maneuvering the Nimitz in a bathtub
@turbid onyx ah yes, a fellow man of naval culture
early iterations of the 4.6 liter V8 make a whopping 202 hp

because 'murica
throw displacement at your problems
and they usually go away
but modern 'murican powerplants are pretty rad
like the almighty LS
or the coyote
or the now dead 8.3L V10 truck engine
But it works for your market
@turbid onyx Oh, not murican
for now
I live in SA currently
so it's all shitty economy cars here
I'm actually continuing my college in 'Murica
it may or may not have anything to do with my crippling panther body addiction
When I went to a trip to london, i was so confused with the car culture
Cause here in Van
You got 240/180s, GTR's, Mustangs, Camaros
Cars with a decent amount of power
and then in london
90hp hatchback cool car
Would you be able to import one back once you're done with college or do you have import restrictions?
@turbid onyx import restrictions require you to funnel money into the hands of the right people
In any case, it'll be highly unlikely for me to return
cries in marauder
also its nice
its not quick
but its comfy
and it does well on the freeway
though it is a bit large in NYC
2 hp more
301 lb/ft torque
ford be under-rating engines
301 lb/ft torque
@lapis elk the 4.6 mods were remarkably torquey
although none can stand up to the coyote and LS
ye
only the marauder got the 4.6 4v dohc
because the marauder is s p e c i a l
and because ford works in mysterious ways
the mustangs had the dohc 5 iirc
Yea the svt right?
and so did the Koenigsegg CC8 and CCR
Those were some weird looking mustangs
Didn't Koenigsegg squeeze like 800hp from it?
Somehow
tbh, you can easily squeeze 400hp out of a dohc modular
with minimal improvements
fun fact, at one point italy decided that cars with an engine larger than 2.0L were luxury items, and to subject them to 38% sales tax instead of the ordinary 19% in effect at the time
@turbid onyx huh, that'd make a Chrysler concorde a luxury car

That'd make literally 90% of cars in the USA a luxury car
Like i know some 4 cylinders that are bigger than 2l
That'd make literally 90% of cars in the USA a luxury car
@lapis elk muh 1200 dollar crown vic is a luxury car
'muhrica
sad audi noises
hey
so many exotics use the 4.6 dohc modular
it ain't even funny
the Qvale Mangusta
Panoz Esperante
the mantis gt
all of them get 500-806 from the 4.6 modular
and surprise surprise we still have a luxury tax based on power output
@turbid onyx all 80s cadillacs are bottom tier, then
oh god
northstar
ew
make it 70s cadillacs
I don't want to be associated with the northstar

northstar V8s
would my hellcat be
@frank tundra y e s

XD
but even the 3.6L still has 300hp
707 stock
but mine isnt stock
mines atm makes about 850
and i complain about insurance in BC
imean
coffin on wheels
i dont own a viper 😦
what about something like an MG, but with an 800hp LS
Don't get me started about insurance. The 8c is not listed in any insurance database and has no official market value, so insuring it is pure unadulterated hell. I've had one company try to convince me that the 8c does not in fact exist.
@turbid onyx ah yes, doublethink
Not enough made?
Because it's rare and it was only sold by invitation
@turbid onyx talking of which, how'd you get your hands on it?
and she hates the mustang
@frank tundra sell the stang and get a 'low power' 400hp viper
one that dosent destory eardrums
the viper is practical
ish

Well, I applied to purchase one and they granted my request
@turbid onyx huh, you bought it new?
damn, you have some serious moolah
didn't those cost a lot?
yes
€245k new
8c competitzone*
Atleast it was here
i bet keeping that thing in good shape
must be expensive
@devout atlas
this is the viper i want
i almost bought it
before i bought my hellcat
oh
but he said someone gave a better offer
that's the most impractical viper
but that person never ended up buying it
F
thats my question
so either a gt3rs
or a ACR
i prefer the acr tho
v10 american bald eagles noises
thats my question
@lapis elk spines are eternal (unless your's snaps), vipers are not
muhrican V10
i have my srt jeep for comfort
it hurt my back
i want my viper for speed
GROWLWLWLWLBRRTT
392 = 6.4L found in all SRTs, Scatpacks
that's actually just a viper
6.2L Supercharged = Hellcats, and Trackhawks
its not bald eagle v10
i dont like comfort
@frank tundra you are wise beyond your years
i drove a 650hp mustang from the age of 17-20
lmao
i have been to hell and back
jesus
I'm surprised that you aren't in a morgue yet
i love mustangs
i'd wouldve kept that thing
had my transmission not
oh you wanna shift? how about no
thats why i have a panther
@lapis elk false. you have a panther body because you're a real man
calvin - shifts
transmission - aight ima head out
also @devout atlas fair, but also
comfort
real men drive real american v8s
get a ram srt10
aka obese Viper
didnt really like it
because it's an obese viper?
because obesity
arent they at all malls near you?
the black sheep of automobiles
an obese viper XD
it was a base model
def has a chacne
not gonna happen
an obese viper XD
@lapis elk precisely
it'll kill me off the line
allegedly
teslas drive like shit
my dad has a model 3
performance model
they drive fiiine
but theyre no sports cars
guys
at least the ones who are still working
cya
in your 850 hp fiat
500e when
Tesla
Tesla would make sence here in Switzerland
U have chargers everywhere
But I need a car to commute accros Europe
So the best bet would be to get plug in hybrid
Public chargers are free here
lucky
we have solar panels and a fast charger
so we're goooood
but charging on normal 120v wall power is
slow
120V
EVs I can afford are shite, so no thnx
- manuals ftw
Corsa-e is nice as well
Still can't afford one
3+1 door 👀
Noice
Oof
I like the new interior
But it's just freaking expensive
And yes, the first ones are fully loaded
But still
Oof that'd leave a big gap between the entry and top model
Ah but 25k for the 24kWh battery pack?
Still quite expensive imho
Base Corsa-e for example is 29.5k with a 50kWh battery
Sure but that's why you have to compare prices before incentives
Actually, the MG ZS EV is selling quite well here
200km 👀
Yikes, I can't daily that
320 for 42kWh isn't bad
But what's it like at highway driving at 140km/h? 🙃
Oof, well that's enough for a round-trip for me
Not sure if I'd feel comfortable with it
It basically means home -> school and back, but if I want to go to anywhere else I can't
Can't
0 charge points

Could try
But I'm not going to buy an EV yet anyway
Can't afford a new one, older ones are too limited in range
School has solar panels 👀
Very true, but I'm not planning a PHEV yet either
I'm planning on having the Corsa as school compadre for at least 2 more years
^ that would be a fact, yes
As far as I know no schools have charging points there
The research center has one tho, but the head of the research center has 2 Tesla's so that makes sense
That could be true
But I live in another country then where I study

True, but Belgium isn't that focussed on EVs yet
No it's a University which doesn't have such departments
True
But they thing is, they're trying to demotivate cars
And promote public transport
Don't think I can have that much influence
Lol
I persuaded my parents to get solar panels, that's enough for me xD
whats teslas bs?
hey
Mega quality control issues, some weird fuckin software management decisions, and poor design on some things.
Panel gaps have always been really bad
Used cars can have fast charging and other features disabled
And manual releases on their automatic doors are hidden and difficult/extremely unintuitive; so if your car caught fire or you were in an accident, you probably would have no idea how to open the door. And even if you did, there's a chance you could be too weak/injured to get it open or can't even access the release because of damage to the vehicle.
As well as anticonsumer behavior and outright worker abuse
Oh?
I was not aware of these things
Beyond some basic anti consumer shit that I've caught wind of
They have been outright firing people to catch the rony, or telling them "sure you can stay home" then kicking their ass out the door
Wow
plus they told the state/county to get bent and opened before they were allowed to
and the county capitulated to them
plus they don't allow you to get parts, they randomly disable and restrict features, and have made it clear that if you touch your car in a way they say you shouldn't, they'll press charges and deactivate your car
But tbh, Commiefornia is kinda shitty anyways so I do side with Elon on that one
the car you bought
Well in general yes, but their rony restrictions were not unreasonable
Yea, sounds like the Apple of cars over here lmao
(sorry, the warship bot will mute us if we use the actual name)
Really?
yeah
Damn
Strict as hell, as usual, I see
but yeah the quality issues are one thing, but the outright anticonsumerism and stuff is what I take issue with
The blatant misbehavior of the company
My biggest thing is def the anti consumer and safety issues
It'd be like having to take the door panel off to open the door on my Prius or on your Lexus.
That's terrible and why should I have to go through so many steps
Well, I don't think it's that bad
it's not that complicated
it's a lever above the window switches
What
the emergency open thing?
Id always seen you had to like remove speaker grilles and shit, and then you have to pull a cable
oh lol no
The Model 3 has a mechanical door release on the front doors as a backup to the electronic release. It is simple to use, but results in an on-screen message warning the user that using it regularly could damage the door seals. This is going to be a difficult thing to avoid for...
first is the electronic release, then the manual one
idk about those
That one for sure you have to pop off panels and pull a cable
yeah that one is badly designed
Last I checked, Model 3 was the same but easier than the Model X
Interesting
Maybe they learned their lesson from the Chinese couple who got trapped in a flaming Model X cause the electric doors broke and they couldn't get to the manual release
maybe
hopefully
honestly at this point they should kick elon's ass out
he's a loose cannon
Elons cool and all, but he can't run Tesla for shit
Ford....is kinda shitty these days too
Especially their interiors
Idk anything about the CEO
They're going downhill
our taurus/explorer aren't bad, but I sat in the new Explorer (2020) and holy shit
it was awful
Which Mazda has been improving ever since Ford left
It looks okay, but the screen is abhorrent, and it's creaky and poor quality
@civic girder damn i was not aware of them disabling shit on used cars
thats snakey as fuck
Yep
yep tesla does that too
They do it especially on used cars
They also sometimes charge people for delivery defects
A family friend of ours got a Model 3, it came without the screen
and he had to pay thousands of dollars to get it put on
And they hate people driving salvage title cars
oh yeah salvage title cars are yet another problem
without the screen
you don't
so they basically
just sent a shell with a bunch of batteries in it
that you cant utilize
The salvage title cars, they shut down all fast charging
permanently
there were people who paid up to 12k$ to get their rebuilt tesla "recertified"
They also don't have that many service centers, so you might have to have your car towed many hours away just for repairs
and they got it stripped too
even the ones that were recertified
they did not get refunded
just get told to piss off
well living in vancouver people love the thought of a tesla
since everything is so closeby
and theirs charging stations everywhere
vancouver WA or CA?
Canada
I would personally never own a tesla
Get a passport and go hang out lmao
If the company wasn't so mismanaged and stuff, I'd buy one
but as of now I cannot support the BS they pull
I'd rather get an EV or plugin that isn't trash
And i think its gonna stay closed
not perm
but for a while
until the US calms down on covid
i think its been closed
Like a Prius Prime. Even the Chrysler Pacifica hybrid is better than a Tesla. And it's an FCA product
Maybe I'll buy a used taycan in a few years
Yea right
Taycan is gonna be horrendous in used repairs
Hopefully the taycan 4s depreciates quick and hard
You'd be better off with your G70 than a Taycan
At the very least, the G70 isn't going to catch on fire while sitting in your garage
im sitting here waiting for the gt3rs to hopefully depreciate
or someone fucks one up a little
but still drivable
Newer car also more expensive to insure. A few years old G70 will cost less than a Taycan in that sense
G70 isn't remotely practical but I've heard good things about how it drives and whatnot
And who gets an EV like that anyways. Performance EVs are not worth it at all yet. The tech is too new and underdeveloped. The performance Teslas are pretty shit and heat soak really bad
This guy wanted to trade his e63s for my hellcat and my terminator
How is G70 not practical, it's a sedan
with me putting 10k on top i think it was
Small trunk and expensive to drive
new
53k for the model I want
Small trunk is only an issue if you actually use it and put lots of large things. And if by expensive to drive you mean insurance, just live somewhere that doesn't gouge you.
I could just keep whichever RX I have at that point I suppose
for Costco runs and whatnot
Ew, why would you get the Stinger over the G70
I'd get the Stinger if the GTS had the GT2 interior
It's a nice car for sure
all of them got up to 300k kms
no issues
Kia is the brand that i have had the least amount of trouble with
A co-worker of mine has a Stinger. I was pretty disappointed when he took me for a ride. It did not live up to the hype journalists gave it
By the time I can afford a G70, I'll probably have the 2007 RX
Which will last forever
eh actually scratch that
if i was spending 50k on another sedan
id go for the Maserati Ghibli S Q4
the sounds those things make are amazing
Lmao
I sat in the G70 and Stinger side by side, and personally liked the way the G70 felt better
I'd rather get a Stinger than a Maserati tbh
Size/interior/materials/etc
Stinger has a high HP TT motor too
The G70 is slightly underpowered compared to it's competitors but it's still adequate
Stinger dosent make the crackles and pops tho
With a tune it could
It's also 2/3 the price of it's competitors tho
and the ghibli just looks so much nicer imo
I have heard Stingers in person that had aftermarket catbacks
They sound pretty decent for a tt v6
and if something ever went wrong
The GS F is nice but expensive and kinda old
chrisfix will probably have made a video on it
I guess that's a fair point lmao
good advertisement for maserati tho
Also I can't get a rwd car
having chrixfix own one
Can't drive that in the rain
laughs in 707hp rwd car being driven in shitty vancouver weather
But honestly, if I was in the market for a fast luxury sedan, I'd find a way to not be in that market. All the options seem pretty lame to me
you get the same weather as me
well I'd rather have a G70 vs something like a Ford ecosport or something
I like my old, slow, carbureted shitboxes that cost nothing to buy but cost your life's savings to keep running
i consider the hellcat a luxury sedan
I'd rather have a lot things than an Ecosport lmao
it has everything a "luxury sedan would have"
Maybe I'll abandon the G70 and just buy the 2007 RX and drive the wheels off that
The 07 RX gets up and goes pretty well
Yea, I wouldn't want a Hellcat either tbh
you'd hate an RX
Crossover is a failed attempt at making SUVs smaller and more like sedans, imo at least
I'd rather be homeless than own a crossover or SUV. Except the MX-30 because rotary
Not a fan of the X6/GLE Coupe/etc
Just get a Camry Hybrid. Problem solved
I'd take an RX hybrid over a Camry hybrid tbh
idk their is no car that could replace my hellcat
To each their own
it’s perfect for me in every way except gas mileage
You'd benefit from an extra gear and shorter 1st and 2nd
That too
When I do the RX-7's exhaust, it'll probably gain like 35 hp, which tbh I don't think it needs
straight pipes RX300
But the sound will be 👌

Pickup with 14.2Liter engine .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wuqd3vuZJzw
Finnish dynamite found on Power Big Meet in Västerås, Sweden, 2015.
Ukkometso: Chevy pickup
- Scania 142 v8 turbodiesel. 14L
- 10 speed gearbox
- 400hp
- 1500nm torque
- home made frame-rails
- 30cm widened bodywork
- axles from Mercedes truck, also widened
etc...
I love depreciation
What I hate is deprecation
Ew, bmw
Lmao
so thats why it was so cheap? XD
One of my buddies has a 3 series. He doesn't use his turn signal ever. But in his daily driver Neon, he always uses turn signals

hellcat is a luxury car
If that's so. My Corolla is also a luxury car.
It's got all the luxury car trappings.
i mean
full leather seats
heated and cooled seats
Faster then everything else on the street
the driver and passenger have a massage mode too
and it has a harman kardon audio system
and well harman kardon > jbl
but everyone has their own definitions of luxury
harman kardon = jbl
Both names aren't relevant when the contracting company paid either 50 dollars and a six pack.
Ford and VW are both excellent cases of paying for a brand... cause you certainly aren't getting a sound.
Neither does Toyota JBL
I dont really know how it goes in the us but atleast in europe, vw isnt really a brand to pay extra for
tiguans are pretty nice
they have the rs3 dash
even the atlas sports
certainly wouldn't pay what theyre priced at
but theyre nice cars
they have the rs3 dash
No?
theyre not that expensive compared to other german SUV's
Definitely not
nope
theyre not that expensive compared to other german SUV's
Imagine a mainstream brand being just as expensive as the pReMiUm brands
Although VW is still too expensive
i dont see it as expensive, its mainstream priced
Wot
but def not the same
Absolutely nothing which is the same
nope:D
Yes that looks like any generic VW
Could be a Polo, could be a Passat, could be a Tiguan
What it can't be, is an Audi
2019
yep
And waaaay worse
that tiguan was also 2019, pretty similar
Yeah, the Facelifted Tiguan also has touchsensitive buttons

Horrible
👀
Did you see the video
Nope
I shit you not it sounds almost like a ford GT
i dont like how every manufacturer likes to shove a fucking screen everywhere nowadays
The wild is calling, and we're answering. Reserve yours 7.13.20.

Honestly we might get one to replace our dodge journey
Well screens aren't that bad, but I need physical buttons for the HVAC and volume etc
exactly
But yeah that bronco sounds really good
Glad, at least that model, isn’t just a four banger
@tight cypress lmao my gilera runner with original 50cc cyl, just sports exhaust, goes 110kmh
there is something wrong with that thing. I swear to god it's a 70cc in disguise, it's ridiculous
what
What
runner deosnt have rabasa
fake gilera
what in the goddamn is this
you wont understand it
Clearly, cause I have no idea what you guys are talking about
did you guys see the hellcat durango?
sounds stupid
Yea, I agree
but with a hellcat engine considering srt10 is discontinued
so is the Hellcat Durango basically a Jeep Trackhawk? lmao
at least this will drive down the prices of trackhawks
my jeep is almost out of warranty
so trade in time is coming
imagine trading in a car
i want a trackhawk cause the 6.4 is a pos engi ne
at least with the 6.2 ill have to worry less
and well
lemon
Bronco sounding good?
It might get the Nano V6TT
Supposedly will get a 7 speed manual.
I don't get the point of new SUVs
Why would you want a sporty vehicle that has the point of gravity of a truck
weighs like a truck
handles like a truck
looks like a pickup
Not to mention crap visibility
and its not even that "utilitarian"
It sucks at offroad
Has the same cargo space as a crummy hatch
because c o m p e n s a t i on
Yea, I feel the same way about SUVs
They don't even have good fuel economy
Even the hybrids suck
Just get a sedan or a wagon/minivan
nice seats
I don't get the point of new SUVs
It's easy.
They offer better sightlines, and are easier to get in and out of.
Modern day crossovers/SUVs offer increased ride height, peace of mind for the off chance it snows, and are vastly more comfortable to enter and exit.
And it's not like modern SUVs are that bad on gas anymore. Boomers upgraded from either older trucks or have moved on from older sedans. They're only seeing improvements.
And it's not like modern SUVs are that bad on gas anymore.
Yet they still use more fuel compared to the same car in hatchback/sedan shape
I've not seen that many SUVs that have that much more ride height than the average anything else
Most, especially cheap ones, are also only FWD so the snow point is mute. Wouldn't be any better than a FWD anything else.
SUVs somehow waste gas. Even hybrids and eco tuned turbos are worse in SUVs than the same engine in a sedan or hatchback.
They weigh more, have more drag, and typically have worse gearing
Sightlines I can see as a benefit, but it's usually not that much better than the average car and certainly not better than a minivan
Also, not really easier to get in and out. Most SUVs actually sit a little too high and can be harder to get in and out. Sedans are often just as hard because they sit low, but minivans are usually at a good height.
My grandparents much prefer their minivan over their last SUV because the van is actually easier to get in and out of
Still think 3 row SUV is a meme
And cargo space is a joke
Pretty sure my RX-7 has more usable cargo space than a decent amount of SUVs and crossovers
Apparently people just use the back seat as cargo space instead of the actual cargo space ig
What car is that?
I fail to see how the 8c relates to SUVs, but ok
Luckily the MiTo has a massive trunk
Oh wait, nvm
how did you even sit in the driver seat
did you remove the front windscreen or something
damn
👀
must be quite a cat
im sorry to hear that
oof missed that message
still unless you drive through heavy mud or whatever every week you really dont need an suv
Many suv´s cant handle mud more than 1ft deep
Most FWD CUVs are just as shite through mud as a regular hatchback
1st gen bmw mini probably could only fit like 100 cans or something
yeah if its 2wd just forget it
Oof mine has never been that dirty lol
and the extra ride height just means you have a higher chance of rolling over
To lower the risks and make the roads safer, all get Alfa 4C's
frick yeah
its still statistically higher
and if the chances of such an event are nil in normal cases that small diff can mean alot
@turbid onyx
Mine's just clean, washed + waxed it today
It was clean like 2h before ..
Anyway. Most crossovers aren't that high off the ground, but are just high enough to be quite comfortable for older people to get in and out of.
Take the Nissan Rogue for example.
Or the CR-V or RAV4.
People are willing to pay for the extra comforts. Perceived or not.
where i live suv and "bigger" cars are really expensive in road tax .. Like 2000+usd a year just in taxes
Still, it's basically worst in every single way
Compare for example a A200 vs GLA200:
- 0-62mph: 8.2 vs 8.7s
- CO2: 120g/km vs 130g/km
- 1275kg vs 1485kg
Yes
no road tax in the US.

Peugeot 205 GTi in the US 👀
The seller is located in New Jersey, and has registered this GTi to his LLC in Montana. The car comes with a clean Montana title.
Classic

It's basically a tax dodge in the US.
Even less taxes
I guarantee you the car has never been there, and the owner likely doesn't live there more than a week.
It's clean AF tho... And it's a great car
true
Engine swap, anyone? https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/ferrari-f40-engine

Fucking finally. Honda e reviews.
And I have to say, I love the styling.

I know it's not a cross country car, but as a commuter.
It would be hard to beat.
Also new rumors, PSA and FCA merging.
Fiat, Chrysler, AND Peugeot... three automakers famous for QC issues.
PSA is doing very well lately
And those rumors have been out for longer (and even officially released)
I haven't taken the rumors seriously tbh.
I know FCA has been rejected by everyone at least twice.
The only thing holding them back (FCA/PSA) last time was Germany being afraid to get too big
Polestar
honda e looks nice im just not 100% on board with the interior
i mean the screens to be specific
@tight cypress lmao i put 70cc on runner and it went 140kmh according to gps
spid^2
insanity
I don't dare to give it everything at this point because it already tried to buck me off the back after full throttle at 50kmh
damn thing
might put 50cc back on thing is scary
there is something not right with that thing
ngl the Honda e looks cool
The Polestar is meh
Shame the Honda e will never be seen in the US
It's not meant for the US market.
I doubt the Japanese will be introducing an EV to the US anytime soon.
Hybrids are letting them develop the drivetrain tech alongside batteries without going down the EV rabbit hole.
Dealers are in for a very very rude awakening when EV demand becomes a thing outside of Tesla.
I got a major question here, should i apply for a loan to buy my first car?It would be used to get to collage BUT its a 1 year collage as i will have a job right after i graduate it.....
But another problem i have is my current job doesn't pay a lot as the corona stuff has a lot of places here shut down here
but i also pay half of my paycheck for rent because im living with my parents still
and i only make like 400 dollars every 2 weeks
@dense shard
They offer better sightlines, and are easier to get in and out of.
You still won't be able to see the car right in front of you with the big SUVs. And SUVs are not easier to get in and out of. I am over 6 feet and I find climbing into small hatchbacks a lot more easy. Though this might be that most SUVs I've been in have been really high cars.
Modern day crossovers/SUVs offer increased ride height, peace of mind for the off chance it snows, and are vastly more comfortable to enter and exit.
Increased ride height would only be useful if the car was actually utilitarian. And most "SUV's" nowadays are either FWD or FWD biased AWD, which are pretty useless in snow or any rough conditions compared to proper utilitarian 4WD.
What I'm pissed off about is that people think they are vehicles for all terrains while they are not any better than most hatchbacks
There are currently 5 hatchbacks on sale in the US.
3 of them are on the smaller side.
One of them is fucking ugly.
America doesn't do hatchbacks.
And a modern SUV isn't so tall you can't see the car immediately in front of you.
It's not about it being so high
