I don't care about power. At all.
I really do
my definition of "nice car" is kinda skewed lmao
If I get a C5 I will tune it for sure
I want a C7 mostly I think
But I will consider other ones cause price
depends on what you want to do
get a cheap C5 and mod it, or get a spensive C7 and leave it stock
Yeah
imo, half the fun is getting something that needs a bit of work and fixing it up
you could also look at getting a wrecked C7 that doesn't have crazy damage and fixing it up
I'm not really into fixing up cars
Sounds like you want to just get a good C7 then
Yeah, I'd rather
Unless you found a hella clean C5, it'd need a bit of work
yeah, just a little work work.. like a good orc..
that would have lasted 200k more miles right?
the shoes needed some cushioning. some stability too..
@wet pine If you are over 6' 4", don't get a C7
Cause you'd have to replace the seat in it just to fit sit in it
And what if you're exactly 6' 4"?
C5 is getting old. It's gonna most certainly need some work. If you can swing it, get a nicely kept C6 or just buy a C7
@wet pine If you are over 6' 4", don't get a C7
I'm under 6'4"
I'm 6'2"
I'm not really tall
I like the C7 cause it has a pretty good amount of power, maybe tune it if it's really not that enough, RWD is good for having fun and stuff you know. It looks really nice from the outside, and I like the interior too.
c9 is better than the c8 tho
and dont even get me started on the c10
this chat has car trek vibes
There is literally no cars at the interstate
You're one.
HAHAHA
hit em with the top speed run man
reminds me of the cessna 172
oh
https://youtu.be/Gn9TmFECsaI why LOL
their heads do look like turbos, ngl
ooo that looks nice
Wagons ftw
@dense shard those headlights are the LED Matrix
In Europe you can get 3 levels: halogen, Bi-LED and LED Matrix
In nani land, you get dim, bright, and fuck you bright
Lol well yes, but I meant headlight design on the Corolla xD
😂
It's parking light/city light, low beam and high beam, and that's the same around the globe as far as I know
I want city lights
I mean I have parking lights
Parking lights
City lights
@stoic ledge
Ah it's seperate in the E30
Yeah the small lights in the upper portion of the headlights, those are the city lights I meant xD
Probably also US vs EU
The city lights are also used as parking lights as far as I know in Europe, amber is for indicating only
And, we also don't have the sidemarkers
Ye
2 DRL lines vs 1 in Europe
Extrs projector is LED Matrix
Ah the line in Europe is DRL iirc
I think thats here as well
Or the DRL doesn't turn off, but they dim
I can't seem to find proper pics of the 3 different EU headlights
But none of them have the 2 J's
Both LEDs have 1 J, one version has a projector inside the J and one version has a projector besides the J (with a smaller J)
Bi-LED has the projector in the J (large J), LED Matrix had it besides the J (smaller J)

no fogs?
2nd and 3rd ones look nice
^
well, shitspec definition has changed over the years
does it even have power windows?
cough American automakers cough
tho id rather have a shitspec corolla vs a mitsubishi mirage
Top is base, middle is GR Sport whatever, low is Premium (top trim)
all the shitspec American cars are basic as fuck
yeah
Could be
manual, power windows, shitty infotainment
tfw our explorer doesn't even have adaptive cruise
ew
those wheels are reason enough to not buy that trim
if they made a fast corolla hatch I'd seriously consider buying it
They ought to make a corolla hatch that is a spiritual successor to the Focus RS
€27.395 is the base hybrid, yes
(in the hatchback that is)
Yeah I know, that's why 95% IS the hybrid
i know of a car with awful emissions that would make MK's government cry themselves to sleep
On higher trims the difference is even less, €1800

Is it basically any car falcon? xD
the Lexus GS F
They do, but nobody buys them
Why get a Prius when you can get the Corolla
@indigo coral they probably welcome you, since they get 100k in taxes xD
We can get every trim as a hybrid
Actually, higher trims are hybrid only
Yeah GS F is noice
Corolla Premium 2.0 Hybrid: €40.745
(top trim with high power hybrid)
The only thing you can change on the Premium, is paint color
Well it includes or ridiculous taxes
tfw the GS F taxes are more than a brand new top spec corolla
Lemme get the price without taxes

My car is worth 33k USD in my dreams
damn, a specced out corolla is 26k USD here
Do keep in mind it's the hybrid, top spec Corollas in the US get what, a 2.0?
~34k top spec for a Mazda 3 Hatch
Well it's a 2.0 Hybrid, so basically same engine + battery + electric motors, which is more expensive ofc
53,275$ for my dream car
And Mazda 3: 2.0
huh theryre not actually that wide, maybe its just the epic config graphics
oh
wait
theyre staggered
wow
225/40R19 up front
255/35R19 in back
Probably, yes
can swap sides but not front/back yeah
hm
theyre expensive, but not as bad as I was expecting
Can't swap sides usually
no?
ppl are saying that with modern tires you can swap sides
provided you don't have directional rims
idek
as long as you don't whack out alignment it'll be fine
Hmmm ok
More grip in the back means its more understeerey
Which is safer according to car manufacturers
it's rwd biased from what I can tell
Plus more grip to put the power down on RWD
you can option either rwd or awd
loool @stoic ledge someone on craigslist wants 200$ for a radeon hd 5770 😂
What a steal
Bargain of the century
Staggered looks cool too xD
understeer is safer because its more predictable
and its easier to manage
when you begin to understeer, you let off the throttle, which is also safer
vs oversteer, which is hard to control and requires throttle to manage
as my me and my boat building crew like to say "safety is over rated"
none of our boats have ever sunk
do you guys think the 2002 wrx wrx wagon is a good first car for someone turning 17 in a year
they blow at stock power
dont the older subarus have head gasket issues?
do you guys think it can stay fuel efficient with new exahust and a carbon hood?
Salty soyboys
(sorry im new to wokring on cars and stuff dnt really know much)
sorry if this question is dub
but isnt it a rule of thumb that under 110 is bad
Rip, apparently demand is weak for the Model Y
@lethal garnet there is no "general rule of thumb" when speaking generally about engine compression. It's all dependent on the motor. Every motor has different bore and stroke and is setup for different compression numbers. Always check the manufacturer's manual to see what compression for the motor you have is supposed to be
checks my compression
sees 69 psi on all cylinders
🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔
For the 12A rotary engine in my RX-7, it should be 85 PSI. Which is exactly what I got.
ohh okay
That peak reading is a weird rotary thing
the main thing you care about when compression testing a rotary is the pulse
Nice
So I bought a thing
flamey boom
It's a P-Pump Cummins!!!
Specifically a 12 valve Cummins
@civic girder Those pressures are super low compared to my truck which gets about 300-320 PSI
@ebon haven is that a 5.9 Cummins?
Welcome to rotary life
The rated compression is 85psi per rotor face
Lmao
Rotaries run off black magic, I swear
I return
is very scared
@fathom socket haha yes it is bb
@ebon haven Look up the 5.9 Cummins killer dowl pin
i know
Okay
If you fix that, it's an amazing engine
I have a buddy that has an old first gen RAM with a Cummins that has over 1.3 million miles on it
thas why i bought it haha it has the p7100 pump on it too so its a golden 12 valve
fingers crossed
yeah thats the plan, its going in a 1987 chevy square body
The P-Pump is undoubtedly the best one
mhmmm
yeeee thx lol
You can tune the P-Pump for a lot of power
im very aware haha
Just don't do a black smoke tune
not a fan of wasting fuel
meh
My 600 WHP Duramax black smokes a tiny bit at wide open throttle
But that's as a result of the tune for extra power
meh is hard to tune out without lots of time on the dyno
Yep
I could push 800 HP out of my truck, but its my daily driver and tow rig
I need it to be reliable
And Duramax's are not cheap
The best price I saw for a stock 100k LBZ Duramax was $4000
yeah thats why i went 12 valve, a little cheaper to make reliable power
haha true
You can get a decent low mileage LS for less than $400
exactly
ohhh nice
meh we all have a rough one lying around
It reliably holds close to 1000 HP
I've read about stock LS1 6.0's making 1500 HP on completely stock internals before they blow up
Naturally it's a rod that lets go
anyone know how much reliable bhp you could get out the Subaru outback 2.0d? (with exhaust, intercooler, intake and remap). Looking a 4wd car to spend some time working on
What year?
2009 - 2013
its 146bhp stock 190bhp~ stage one remap
It's a flat four right?
yea boxer
I don't think the headgaskets apply to the diesels
They are a pain in the ass to work on
beats working on a Hyundai coupe
Tru
guess ill be looking at the 250~300 bhp region if i get a slightly bigger turbo
rip head gasket at anything over 200bhp
yea, Subarus are as infamous for eating headgaskets as rotaries are for spitting out apex seals
leave it stock, a Subie can probs go almost 200k. But the moment you start pushing power, RIP compression
same thing with rotaries, tbh. Though they are more finicky
turbo rotaries blow up all the time
na can run for a long ass time as long as you premix and keep out the carbon
It's also been unscientifically/unofficially proven that carbureted rotaries are the most reliable.
a stock 12A is not likely to spit out seals, its more likely to leak all its oil and die that way
(you guys are forgetting it's a diesel boxer)
nani
2.0d
Its a Subaru, and its a boxer
D a.k.a diesel
It's a boxer diesel, yes
Doesn't mean it has the same issues as a regular gas boxer
If/when I get a Subaru of any kind, first thing I do is change the headgaskets
thats the first thing i do to every car i buy
and a timing belt and water pump if its internal
My battery cells are burning
most cars don't need a head gasket, unless its high miles
if its a timing belt, then yea that's good to change early
water pump is almost more dependent on the motor itself
some motors have issues, some don't
the SSC tuatara has grown on me
I've done some quick part searching, does all of this make sense or am i over/under valuing some parts?
aesthetics come into it at the end, and yes the new mercs/bmws in the uk are blinding
¯_(ツ)_/¯
in my coupe at certain points i had to ware shades at night to see anything
Any ford owners here have/had problems with spark plugs causing misfires?
Not personally, but I've seen it happen
especially those stupid long boi spark plugs on some of the older F-150s
Not the coils?
I'd go to a local mom and pop shop
I hope its not the coils
dealers charge up the ass on stupid basic shit
coils usually aren't expensive
unless you have some really weird special coils
Yeah, but I does mean no car for a bit
depends
the dealer should have some in stock
a third party shop might not have them in stock
I’m still under dealer warranty, which isn’t a problem, but its a chrysler dealer
Yep
pray they don't fuck it up or misdiagnose it
Coils are ez to replace
^
Mine has a coil pack with 4 connected, 1 breaks = replace them all
I replaced the coils on my RX-7 in like 2 minutes
The Prius coils are a bit more involved, but that's only cause you have to move shit out of the way
@stoic ledge that's why individual coils are better
one breaks, replace just that coil

Actual quote from me when the RX-7 eventually breaks
Get another Volvo sometime
I might
Get the 5-cyl V50
Wow, the new coils on the RX-7 are real nice
It's not missing like crazy while motor is cold anymore
OOF
Well thats good honestly
Means that it only did that because of the old as fuck coils and so was an ignition problem
v50? did they do a D524T2?
sorry, yeah thay did a B524T4 😄
@civic girder yor run a RX7?
Yes
nice, which one
S2 as well
@desert glen nice, laser blue
Not big on the color
naahh not blue. purple? yeah yeah
yeah. got my V60 T8 friday. 😄
@dim snow
Is yours still 12A
yeah, with holly setup
yeah better on the milage the nikki
the holly is way to thirsy
have to rebuild and tune it again
tha cab
Update: cyl 1 coil is bad
Told ya
But It can get done today
@civic girder you done a engine rebuild yet?
Sure it's a generic coil, basically every parts store has it in stock
And replacing it is one bolt
@dim snow
No. 73k original miels
Nice
I did a compression test yesterday. Perfect results
I think I can get 100k easy
the 12a tend to do so if you threat them nicly
I still have the OMP hooked up, and I put some 2 stroke in the gas
%?
No idea, lol
haha
I just pour some in until I think "good enough"
something is better than nothing
Since I got OMP and premix of some amount, should be good
Oof
know.
so, is horrible to turn, and backing up is no no
so got me a new/used to swap ut.
or if that not work do a Kia sportage diff swap
just bolt in 😄
Nice, lol
I probably will keep the drums and open diff
This is just a street cruiser
Idk, the FB discord I'm in say the drums are actually better on the street
Idk really
if it works, dont fix it
Pretty much
What I need to get done is exhaust and brake master cylinder
And find out why there's a clank coming from the rear when I am braking
It's mainly when the brakes are cold. When I brake, there's a consistent clank that seems to occur Everytime the wheel makes a full rotation
loose blakepads?
hand break?
Maybe
I know the passenger side cable is snapped
But what's really weird is that the sound comes from driver's side I think. And only when braking
And seems to go away when I brake harder
new drums you said?
Yea. New drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, and springs
thats a good plan.
i gonna take my out form winter dormant soon.
fire it up soon as temp is over freezing
I drove mine thouhought most of the winter here
Whenever there wasn't salt on the roads
And getting underspray regularly just in case
She started and handled the cold pretty well
can not do that here.
salt everywhere, the bad jap-metal is not made for this
Oof
We have had more mild Winters recently, so it's not as bad
Plus my car is undercoated, so rust isn't as bad
It's held up well, but needs to get peeled up behind the front wheels so the surface rust can be fixed. Then redo the undercoat in that spot and get mudflaps for the front wheels so it doesn't happen again
Ohio
norway
Yep
if you find a red steeing wheel in good condition, im interested😉
Lol
There's only two other FBs in my general area
One hasn't run in two years and looks rough based on the pictures in the listing.
The other is a GSL-SE that is ok mechanically and low rust, but the red leather interior is beyond fucked
And the SE isn't for sale
If the one for sale doesn't sell, I'll probably pick it up in a couple years when I move out
👍
Yea. It'd be nice to have one I can thrash and break and not really care about
My S2 is my baby. I got it stock, and it's basically staying stock
Ultimate rotary plans are to get an RX-4 sedan and rotary swap a truck. Dream would be to get a Cosmo 110S or a Cosmo Sport
I am in need of help with identifying a specific car make/model
have a stock 12a in the garage
Nice
@fathom socket yeah brig it on
BMW i8
Huh?
Looks like a McLaren to me
yeah.
Idk if it's a 620 or 720 tho
that's what I was thinking, I didnt even think anyone around here had that kind of cash
most expensive car I've seen before today was an aventador
Could be from out of town, passing through on a pleasure cruise
made in england so you know it’s good 🇬🇧🏴
in my city that is
@velvet mirage
Oof. Triumph?
like a Rover?
Or Rover would be my other guess yea
UK cars is not always the best 😛
Lmao that was a ford Capri I put up but I was talking about the McLaren
Yea, idk of really any British cars that were good
haha Carpi 3.0l?
Oh, a Capri. Just as bad
Doing a 5L swap
what series?
JK, Capri are decent. Sometimes
So it’s a 302 Windsor and it’s a mk1 pre facelift
It's a Ford, so it's always a 50/50
aahh like the MK3
My m8 has a mk3 with a 2jz
had a Ford Granada 2.8i ghia one time
Interesting choice of motor for a Capri
Lol have to cut out a lot to fit it in the 2jz lol
It’s on YouTube if you look it up
A friend of mine put a 2JZ in his 240SX. Now kinda wants to sell the 240, lmao
orignal engine is rock solid
Yeh for now until I get more money then I’ll get Itb injection
@civic girder hope so
Don't bother. Carb is best
Getting new heads first
Fuck going to a tuner and spending monies
Just grab the screwdriver, hear the succ, and smell them fumes
the holly carb replacement injection kit i head was good.
Need a sump as well as this one don’t fit over the steering rack lol
just bolt on
know
So they're not good
just dint remember the name
Need to add a fuel return line for that as well if going injection
Return is nice even on carb
Especially if your pump can do higher psi than you need
It’s a holly pump that came with the carb but I will see got to mount that somewhere yet
Do like our cars. Inline pump
i have considered the sniper on my ported 12a
Eh
but... no
It just wouldn't be the same
na rotaries are made to be carb
Have Electronic ignition a ford one for it but might get msi
@velvet mirage but your v8 would do nise whit a sniper
so are na V8s of large displacement and of American make
Hopefully my carb decides that I set the tune correctly. I've been having troubles too rich a mix lately
@dim snow well while rover v8s are cheap it seems wrong to put that in a ford plus this engine is from basil green, so has historical significance to the Capri,
I finally got around to getting a compression tester. Results are great! Looking back at the footage, the rear rotor might be more like 80 psi on all faces, rather than 85; but that's close enough. Overall, the motor is in good health, I'm not complaining.
For those curious,...
12A stromk
Used to have a rotary compression tester that printed it out on paper as it did it for each of the 3
They have digital ones now of corse haha
Yeh my dad used to work at a Mazda garage that’s why we had it
Vs $20 basic piston tester that gives you close enough numbers
yeah, i just do it manual, and you can hear the differens when cranckin with one sparkplug installed
One day I'll probably get a special rotary tester
Not going to work is it it just holds the highest so if you have the first one up and 2 and 3 are down how you going to no unless you are there holding the button down
When I have 2,3, maybe even 4 rotary cars
sorry if some miss spellings 🤣
I don't want to compression test my engine because I'll probably be really sad by the numbers
Lol
I wouldn't be surprised if the Prius compression numbers were low on the rattle can
I'm already questioning the integrity of my headgasket 🤔 🤔 🤔
Oooooof
why @normal temple
2JZ NO SHIT
It's in a Capri
Err, 219k stock headgasket
Yikes
@normal temple easy to swap in the old BMWs
Short drives I see milkshake on the oil cap but its probably due to condensation somehow
Dunno
Yiiiiikes
I don't see milkshake on long drives though
Sniffer test? @normal temple
And I'm not eating coolant yet
🤔
Short drives I see milkshake on the oil cap but its probably due to condensation somehow
@normal temple or not
yes or not
afaik my HG is fine
@civic girder when it bobbles in the coolant, there is time to rebuild 😄
With that many miles your head gasket is on borrowed time
Eh, could be worse
@dim snow yea, or when your exhaust smoke is white instead of blue
ahhh blue... ohhh
Never 219k
Eastman how long until they're on borrowed time...?
Like mine
BMW?
I'm at 136k
I'd replace it in 20k miles just to be safe @indigo coral
Yes its a 1989 325is
I'm not replacing it until it blows lol
Lol
Oooof
So fuck that
Fair enough
TRANSVERSE V6 LIT
I googled it, seems like they rarely blow on the 1MZ
If I do my headgasket, I want to get the head rebuilt so the car would be down for like idk
the 2,5 inline 6 is a good engine if you service it
Just replace one head gasket,
A couple weeks
so 🤷
2-300k km is easy
the Achilles heel of my engine is sludge
Which is not a problem for me
cause I checked!
Yea, but you have rod knock
not anymore i don't
Or do you?
idek what it was
🤔
Inb4 your ears don't hear the rod knock
Vsauce micheal
Japanse cars fixes itself
Yep
runs fine, took it for 100 miles drive yesterday
Rotaries fix by redlining
Battery is getting weak but that's ez
just the valves waitng oil pressure?
@indigo coral just refill the battery 🙃
You can't not make compression if the motor is running and spinning at 8k rpm
Hell yea
idk what it was, once it happened after sitting for a few days and promptly went away, the other time it happened as I was stopping at a stop sign and then continued after restarting it, but when I revved it just a tiny bit it went away
no sludge
"Redline a day keeps the rebuild away"
Lol
I attribute my engine's life to 3k mile oil changes and redlining everyday
@normal temple and you wonder if you have a bad HG?
A redline a day keeps the rod knock at bay
Lmao
I swear that my car hates sitting more than any car I've ever driven
S l u d g e
Yes I do wonder if I have a bad HG because I'm not eating coolant but see milkshake on short drives
Compression test would prove it, maybe I should do it idk
@normal temple stop doing short trips to McDonald's to get a milkshake, that might fix it
And it's not like a rotary where you have to rebuild the whole damn motor when the comp is low
one side but the other half was similar
That's a tasty engine
What if falcon secretly only did the vcg on one side
Doing vcg on that car was a right pain in the ass
Yea
whole intake comes off
no
LUL
I'm joking
Imagine working on a transverse V6
Back one
But it's a good meme
VR6 gang, ez spark plugs for life
It's a worn engine, but not destroyed
Anything transverse is a pain
What oil are you running lol
That's good for a toyota
whatever they have at Costco
Like, really good
oh
Mobil1 i think
Toyotas are almost as bad as rotaries in oil consumption
That's not a definitive metric, but the box from Costco came in a bunch of 1 quart bottles and I've used about 1 since i changed oil
And am at just over 4k miles
You aren't burning as much as I did with mobil 1
I'm using full synthetic
I just avoid Mobil 1
dino oil = death sentence for this motor
Lmao
The Merc burnt 4 quarts of Mobil 1 in 1000 miles on the trip to California
Switched to Rotella and burnt nothing on the same trip to California
I'm pretty sure this is the first time the Prius has run synthetic it's entire life
lol
Baited
4 quarts @1k mikes? YIKES
yes
Yea, the LMG bot is notorious for doing that @dim snow
How
It was 100 degrees outside and we were on mountains with the AC
just reffering to the redline bip lol
My redline buzzer doesn't work :(
Guy that posted that said he drained out half a gallon before taking the pic
My redline is just WAP WAP WAP
I got banned for posting an emote, so don't worry xD
from the top of the motor
no.. that the best soud ever.
I'm running dino oil for my E30 yeet
My redline buzzer doesn't work :(
Why is there a redline buzzer?
Rotary
Switching to Castrol GTX 20w50 next change wooooo
So smooth you barely notice you're at redline
oof
So they put a buzzer to remind you
Bwah you'll hear it
But mine doesn't work
ah yes the smooth silent luxury car. The RX7
Yes

It's a quirk of the cars that there's a buzzer
I wish I could experience it, but im gonna have to tear my dash apart to see why it doesn't work
I've got a rattle in my dash and it drives me slightly insane
Lol
Nice quirk, I like it
The car has a 13B street port, Racing Beat Header, a silencer from a Bonez race pipe, and a Cherry bomb at the very rear of the Exhaust.
My car is relatively quiet when driving
Somewhat.
Not as quiet as a modern RX tho
My cars.... Is just as quiet as any other small car. So not really
And Jesus Christ my exhaust needs to get done
The coins in my center console rattle so god damn much because of the leaks
Coins
Just rev more and you won't hear it anymore
Cruising at 40mph in 4th at 3k rpm, coins rattling and bouncing, chassis vibrating
It's awful
Mine leaks :p
Can't hear the exhaust pops over the vibration in the chassis
And the fucking cat heatshield rattles horrible too
No salt gang
Shoulda bought an ST
I don't like blown shifters
But I've got like 4 holes in my midpipe, the cat is clogged and has like 2 or 3 holes in it
Ah, that'll get you some good cash back
I'll probably get like $100 out of the cat. That means itll only cost like $200 to get the shit I need
But maybe I'll get more than $100 back, which would be nice
All I know is that the pre-silencer costs $300 and I need like 4 ft (to be safe) of thick wall pipe
And assuming I don't need to make any bends, it'll just be cutting a couple flanges off the midpipe, welding them to the new pipe, and welding the presilencer into the pipe, then bolting it up with fresh gaskets
Then get a nice muffler later on
I really wanna get a new exhaust on my focus but not sound like rice
All you have to do is not straight pipe it
Remove the silencer 🙃
Have a resonator and a muffler
Have 6 resonators and no muffler
That keeps the noise down so you're not ricey, but if you get the right shit it'll still be loud and sound good
tesla owners are yes
Big brain
I don't always agree with Tesla, but uhm.... Duh? 😝 What did they expect
yeah I have no issue with them voiding his warranty.
that was incredibly stupid on their part
https://youtu.be/Nb3Gzvf-cAM sounds alright
2014 Focus SE Muffler delete, small resonator delete, and big resonator reduced to a small resonator. basically it's straight piped with a small resonator after the cat.
Also has K&N intake filter, stock airbox without lid, snorkel delete, and has E85, no tune.
I had it str...
@desert glen doesn't sound right for an i4
It sounds lifeless and almost like a straight piped V6
Well I'm gonna go out for a drive again
That makes you look like VTEC Civic dudes slamming through the gears sounding like a racecar going 20mph
Don't
This is cool
For fun I temporarily unhooked the exhaust from my Volvo s80 v8 just to see what it would sound like.... I was pleasantly surprised :)
that sounds shockingly pretty good
Yes, I Know
Volvo: yes, let's make a car you can get with a 1.6 diesel or a 4.4 Yamaha V8
The Genesis G70 is an athletic sedan characterized by its graceful and dynamic exterior styling. There is one thing you need to know, that turbocharged 3.3-liter gasoline V6 is FAST! From 0 to 60 or ever from 50 to 70, it's quick! So fast it will get you many speeding tickets!...
G70 gets up and goes pretty well
Doesn't really sound like anything tho
But thats5 basically with all engines these days
That doesn't necessarily dissuade me from wanting one tho
It's kind of a sleeper
Sort of
Well not really
The sport trim has the 19in rims
If I'd get one, nobody knows what is it
Nobody knows about Genesis here either
But it's kinda obviously a sports car
staggered tires, big rims, etc
Less people know about it here
That's cause they dont sell it there lol
here itd prob be a cop magnet
Lol
Course I already have a cop magnet (for whatever reason)
RX 300 is on top of the cops list ofcourse
idek why
Especially in brown
I get followed all the time
Only speed maniacs drive them
like they pull out and follow me to wherever I'm going
all. The. Time.
I don't even drive like a loon normally
Maybe 5 over but not much beyond that
normally
I've done 30mph over the other day
Huh wait what
OOF
they virtually never do tho
Nah they won't give a reckless driving ticket for going 30mph too fast on an empty highway at 2AM
They can give you a big speeding ticket
But the section between the Belgium and Dutch border... There are no cops xD
175km/h in a 120km/h
108mph in a 75mph zone
My car probavly doesn't even go that fast
They have to stop you before the border, so X doubt
It's rated at 112 but I bet some horses have escaped thru the years
83hp can get it up to 112hp, you have over double
And a 4 speed
But also twice the weight, aero and 4sp auto
Inb4 a Corsa can outrun a Lexus SUV
Easily
I bet yours would win in a drag race too
in practice
In theory mines 8.8 but that's a fat lie
Maybe rolling downhill
Bwah no I think you might win that
That's Foxy, mines around 13
With a good start
Shifting at 4000 or 6500rpm doesn't change a thing tho xD
you don't want to have a run-in with anything in this car
I don't want to have a run-in with any car tbh
Same
I love this thing (get it?)
I would take it to the beaches or a camp site lol
Has anyone seen the Peugeot 508 GT line I want to buy one
that must be rear engine? i don't see an opening for the radiator
I've driven a Willys
that thing looks like it would snap in half if it tried to go on a gravel road lmao
The German thingie didn't fare well.
@solemn atlas Sure I've seen one, looks nice
@dense shard no not a Kübelwagen, this is a Kübelwagen:
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f3/VW_Kuebelwagen_1.jpg
It's a Type 181
Oh oops
now i sent this, i have a small problem with it, the rear tire is kind of.. tucked? into the rim
like the entire tire is good apart from like one part where it goes further in and makes the ride extremely bumpy
letting it go to 0 and then overinflating doesnt help either
🤔
@stoic ledge Wanna race against my van?
@fathom socket the answer to that question depends on the van in question 😛
it's gonna be a sleeper with a 1000hp v8
Nah
I'm Conradish006 BTW
It's a 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 with a 300 HP 6.0L V8
It has decent power for a 6700lb van
It has an LS
So, I could make it have 1000 HP
||I do have that turbo kit laying around||
@stoic ledge I'll import your car and build the shit out of it for you
You're gonna need some hella large drag slicks for the front
😂 😂 😂
You can better start with an OPC/VXR, starts with 2.5x the horsepower
Tune it to 400
Might stand a chance by then
Like this
This Vauxhall Corsa VXR is just STUPID QUICK! I had a great day catching up with the king of corsa's Doug! and his EPIC 430bhp creation.. safe to say this car never disappoints, now running a crazy power to weight figure of almost 360bhp per tonne!
FULL SPEC BELOW
Power:
43...
With my 1.2? xD
As I ad many of my ricer brothers like to say
Slap a turbo and a big ol' wang in that
wow
mom
@stoic ledge It's easy, ricer mods add at least 700 HP
stickers add HP
according to Engineering Explained
I'm glad that didn't fall on me 3 years ago at the shop for a visit during help
found a sweet wallpaper somewhere on reddit.
