amazon dc?
Distrubution center
o
I know, would be cool if this would be right outside your door though
"Hello, I am your delivery pilot, here is your order"
Moving to richmond just for quick delivery
Literally pick anywhere except richmond, it's trash
We’re talking RVA right?
From someone outside NOVA, and I share the opinion of many others, Richmond sucks
Its a nice city, but totally different social climate than the rest of the commonwealth
oh?
Rare
nothing wrong with it
that looks like stuff on ebay that says "lightly used"
lol apart from the fact that rotarys dont use valves at all
yes and i also know my car engines fairly well
i hate when my rotary rod knocks
That's what happens when you install race camshafts on your rotary.
It could drop a valve.
Yeah RVA
oof did your rotary break?
No, I was joking about the valve lodged in a rotary thing
I drove my RX-7 to school and back last couple days, no issues that I didn't already have
which the issues I do have:
-sunroof rail is kinda messed up, so wind likes to blow between the sunroof weather seal at highway speeds when it's windy
-old car noises (creaks from ancient suspension, all the tings and clicks from tiny gravel pieces pinging off the aluminum in the wheel wells)
-fucked up rear brakes that barely do anything
-ancient diff fluid that makes the car feel a little weird and kinda "pulsate" in 3rd gear
-shifts like ass because the clutch cylinders are ancient and leaking everywhere
-wind noise and cold air blowing in through the absolutely trashed door seals
but I can say that the trans fluid change was a brilliant idea
-it "pulses" less in 3rd gear than it did before
-the transmission doesn't feel sketch when putting it in gear
-car doesn't vibrate at harmonic frequencies when you go 70mph
-and there's hardly any gear whine anymore
Heres a fun one from this fall one of the combines got stuck and we broke a 2 1/2 inch rope pulling it out
A Russian truck driver attempting to navigate a tight street unknowingly collided with and dragged a small car through an intersection as it rounded the corner.
Yoink
wow a mac cheese grater costs more than my car.
In fact I could get two of my car, and still have a few grand left over.
thats a no
Thought so
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
Not the biggest fan of donut media.
But this series is amusing.
But... 595RSRs are expensive 😂
wait what happened ?
Who got banned
I don't think anybody get banned
Well idk
About the Porsche: it''s waay more fun to drive tho
still. 201 miles in ideal conditions is terrible lol
that's gonna be like 130 miles daily
Incredible
This is specifically why I prefer going off industry standards.
Porsche bullshit 280 miles per charge.
EPA showed 200.
I could listen to the automakers, or I could watch them pipe down when apples to apples numbers are released.
Basically the same range as a Corsa-E
Opel has a interior which makes more sense
Definitely
Peugeot gauge screen is cool tho
The tiny steering wheel and high dials make no sense to me
Agreed, but the screen itself is cool xD
The Opel digital screen is... Cheap
It looks fine
So I'd just get the regular dials
Yeah
my favourite is either the model s cluster or the bmw one with the metal outlines of the dials
^ yes the previous BMW cluster is good
the new bmw one is yucky
Much better than the current cluster
Agree
ew
Yes
How can it be a Volt screen if it's not made by GM 🤔
I love how the blank plastic implies the existence of a normal gauge cluster.
came from gm prob
OR, the screen used by Chevy was originally from Opel
Because they already had this screen laying around probably xD
Just throw 'em in there, Bob
because car manufacturers are cheapasses
Also that
Decent speakers aren't that expensive now either, yet many car manufacturers always manage to find speakers that make anything sound terrible
Don't forget Opel actually finished developing a brand new Corsa, than they were bought by PSA and they had to start over again xD So it's quite amazing what they accomplished in such a short period of time
I wonder what it would have looked like
Probably like a baby Astra
About the speakers: but how must they otherwise upsell to their "pReMiUm" Beats Audio system? 😛 (which is also shite)
Well that's my point
Even the seemingly 'great' audio systems still sound like crap
Yet when I buy some Pioneer speakers for like €20 each they sound way better
Naka system is very old, but decent
And that's retail price
Because automakers buy the brand name, not the actual quality.
But... Imagine 0.05 cents on every car. *1 milion cars = 50k profit 😛
I know lol
At least let me put aftermarket speakers in it
Without disassembling the entire car
Oof yes
I'd put alternate speakers in mine but I can't 😢
The Saab 9-3 actually came with Pioneer speakers from the factory
That must be why Saab went bust then lol
I... Can, but I can't want to because I probably can't get it back in 1 piece
Lol well basically xD
They actually cared too much
Saab used everything except the parts they were supposed to use to keep costs down xD
lmao true
Which model Saab?
2006 or 2007 9-3
Must've been aftermarket too then
Probably
It was quite fast tho
(the car)
It was the 2.0 Turbo, top speed at zhe Autobahn was 241 iirc
Opel OEM radio's from that aera we're Grundig iirc
Or Delphi
Depending on the model
Hmm
Some we're even made by Blaupunkt
Yes Blaupunkt
Peugeot using the same sat nav as Maseratis
Ah I recognise that button panel
Typical PSA
Maserati has really gone to shit now imo
The Gran Turismo is old af now, Levante was mey, Ghibli ok, Quattroporte not what it used to be
The Ghibli is even available with a diesel ffs
Also the GT has been discontinued iirc
http://www.forum308.com/download/file.php?id=13076&mode=view
Exactly the same system
Oh has it?
Could be, idk xD
lol
Yep
The GranTurismo is just expensive and old
Levante is a good SUV but overpriced
Ghibli and Quattroporte are shit
what's funny is that the Lexus next to it isn't even much larger than a early 2010s Corolla
it's a really narrow car with a low roof
but it is actually fairly long
and that gives it more interior space than a Miata
Oof @jovial mauve is back 👀 Long time no see buddy
So long that I don't remember seeing him
Oof
He had a Golf R which he was selling
And a red CLA diesel company car which somebody crashed in to iirc xD
And apparently he replaced the Golf R with an RS3
Could be, idk xD
I ramble when I'm tired
Man I got so many parts in the mail today
All I need now are my brake shit and then I'll have everything I need
Yes, brake shit to replace the shit brakes
pretty much, lol
I'm changing out the soft line, the shoes, the wheel cylinders, the drum, and all the springs and shit
Gonna be great
ooh yea, for sure
braking is still sketch, even though it's got brand new pads and rotors at the front
I just love that you're keeping the old lady on the road
thanks, it's certainly a journey
80s Jap cars have a certain aesthetic to them, I like it
Oh yea, they definitely do
I love 80s Jap cars now more than ever did
even 80s American cars don't capture the aesthetic of the time
I get what you mean
yea, it's crazy. You park my friend's dad's 89 Crown Vic next to this, and the Vic doesn't even feel like an 80s car
lol
idk
It definitely doesn't feel 70s
it almost has some bastard child form of 90s vibes
but without the 90s looks
they hardly changed it all the way until 2011 🤣
I don't really know how to explain it, but it just doesn't feel like an 80s car
whereas any Japanese car from the 80s screams 80s from miles away
My car absolutely screams from the rooftops that it's from the 90s. Two tone body lol.
Mines a wedge
designed in the 70s
with an 80s interior
and facelift exterior to make it 80s
Feel bad for porshe
Porsche fucked themselves.
And that's why I stick to industry standards.
EPA just gave Porsche whiplash.
And lost 80 miles of range while at it. lol
$150k car, only gets 200 miles epa range
Give me a Nissan Leaf.
Each time the range drops enough, I can just get a new one.
Hell... I can get a new Leaf every year for like... 5 years?
Damm, a perf model s can get 350 miles, better 0-60 and 1/4 miles, and fsd, and is only 113k
Now that's just sad
Or get a Model 3, and you get 300 miles of range for 50k.
Or get a Mustang Mach E... 60k and 300 miles of range.
You can get literally anything that was made in the last 3 years, and be better off.
The only cars that are worse are the i-MIEV, Fiat 500e, and the electric compliance cars.
You'd have to be a pretty hardcore porsche fan to buy this thing... and then you'd probably have admit you could have done better.
Yea, porshe fucked something up real hard on this one
what is range, lmao
I fill up my 7 at half a tank, which is roughly 60 miles on the trip meter
I add 6 gallons, and it's a 16 gallon tank
Range is not waiting an hour to charge your EV up.
gg Porsche.
280 wasn't brilliant to begin with.
cluster pics
yea, it's handbrake light
YEET
if it was another light I'd probably be fucked, lol
Kek
The only lights that are safe are the handbrake and seatbelt light
I drove on the highway for 2 hours with the low oil pressure light on
though the headlamp and stop lamp lights are of questionable "I'm fucked" status
thats a yikes @sick cloud
If I did that I'd cry and then start shopping for a new engine
cause uh, rotary no work without oil pressure
since I got my car i've had two warning lights - one CEL that turned out to be nothing, and one "your brake lights are out dumbass" lights that turned out to be nothign too xD
The engine was severely damaged by owner, spun an dropped the bearings for the balance shafts into the oil pan. The sensor is located in the cylinder head and the light comes on when the pressure is below 5 psi.
Yea, I've had a couple "not normal" light instances
stop lamp light came on, cause I had a busted brake light
my CEL was the pressure went funny and the evap system went out of spec for a second, car ran perfect. when i got home i cleared it and its never come back
and when it started getting cold I had the "add coolant" light and buzzer, but that was only because there was barely not enough coolant (when the engine and system was cold) for it to not touch the thermostat
My mom's car has almost 245k miles and still going strong.
Mine's at 133k as of yesterday
which is a touch unfortunate but hey what can you do
cars are made to be driven
you guys and your 100k+
rotarys crap out at 10k
my Prius is at 98k and the 7 is at 71.6k
dont worry, I'm immature and plan to get a picture when my mom's car crosses 69,420 miles.
When I got the Prius it had 72k
I worked on a semi once. 11 months old and had 1.13 million miles on it. Still under warranty.
more like
thats crazy
15k
thats just to school and stuff, don't even have job to commute to xD
mom puts about 22k miles a year going to and from work
I put fewer miles on the Prius commuting to school and work
friends and I went on a day trip to the beach but that was only ~300 miles
(round trip)
I had to pull the sub frame and oil pan on her car to remove a piece of plastic my ex dropped down the timing cover when I was doing a valve adjustment 3 weeks ago.
oof
Had to replace ignition coils, spark plugs, fuel injectors, and motor mounts that same weekend. No power tools.
2007 honda civic si
Oof rip
only thing I've had to replace was a rear sway bar link
and only cause it was clunking around and driving me insane xD
The only thing I've had to replace...............
I'd rather not type out a message that long
Lol
I replaced all suspension parts, both front control arms and ball joints, a/c compressor (twice) and condenser, wiper motor, all motor mounts, spark plugs ( 3 sets), ignition coils, fuel injectors, pre cat O2 sensor, 3 valve adjustments, uh might be forgetting something. Clutch was replaced twice.
true
lets see here...
runs great. she wants to drive the car at least till she retires next year.
its probably coming time for me to do timing belt which will be a nightmare
has a timing chain
if I could get confirmation that the car was non-interference I'd just say fuck it and go until it breaks but the internet is very conflicted as to whether or not the engine is interference or not
lol
most say it is non-interference, while some insist the vvt-i makes it interference
i know mine is in my car. when the timing chain jumped a tooth on the crankshaft, BAM, all exhaust valves were bent and the bearings spun and fell into the oil pan. This was on the original engine before I bought the car. I replaced the engine myself.
Rip
For the Prius:
I have replaced the wiper blades once, replaced a taillight, replaced both headlights (PAIN), and a side marker light. Then, after the accident, (I didn't do this, but is what was replaced) hood, bumper, core support, radiator, oil cooler, a/c condenser, both headlight assemblies, and the front license plate mount
I've been able to find stuff saying the 1MZ-FE that does not have VVTi is non-interference, and the subsequent 3MZ-FE in the newer RX is interference, but the cars with VVTi 1MZ, its unclear
Lol
lmao
Professional Equipment ™️
the RX has problems in that regard
2AZ-FE suffered a design flaw
Idk what the trans code for mine is, but they wayy underbuilt it.
that's the engine model in my car
pulled it from the Camry, put it in a car thats way heavier "more poweful" and AWD, then they didn't cool it well
yeah i figured
At least you can take solace in the fact that its a better engine than the Ford 5.4 V8 and the Northstar V8! XD
oops I called toyota a bad word and got censored
yeah
yeah the bot doesn't like that
the poor design of the engine
foam between intake and block, aluminum block, too small coolant passage, caused the treads in the block to soften and head bolts stripped out.
coolant mixed with the oil and over a long time sludge built up and wore the parts out in 112k miles
The part I find honestly ridiculous is that for the 99 and 00 model years, the thing would just kind of die from the planetary gear cracking (i think) + other failures like a weak ATF pump, but your best bet was to just kind of let it do its thing until it died and occasionally check the fluid. Then in 01 they panic tried to fix it, and made the ATF pump too big and it burns the shit out of the ATF, so you have to change it much more often. And it didn't resolve some of the other issues. Nice job Toyota!
1MZ-FE can have sludge issues, but if you use synthetic and actually change your oil occasionally its not bad
As for the RX-7, in the last 3 months, I've done:
Tires, front brake rotors, front brake pads, radio, fuel pump twice, spark plugs twice, spark plug wires, distributor cap, distributor rotor, retuned the carburetor, most of the vacuum lines, a/c compressor drive belt, smog pump drive belt (then removed it because the smog pump pulley is misaligned), alternator belt, alternator pulley, then put two new alternator belts on, new alternator, wiper blades, rear speakers, air cleaner, and oil filter + oil change and transmission fluid
rip
im curious what my engine looks like inside but I don't really want to start opening stuff up cause I'll probably break something 😂
ever replace the water pump in a 5S-FE?
no
it is driven by the timing belt
like the ford 3.5
not sure about ecoboost, but the NA one for sure
iirc its a partly engine out job
(hope ours dont fail! xD)
I remember when Ford made the water pump inside the engine, lol
"Good luck getting it replaced when it poops out"
both parents cars have the 3.5 ecoboost rip
well its a good engine but has some ... flaws
I'm just hoping my engine has no issues.
Toyota's new Dynamic Force 2.0 is brand new ground up design.
Cool af tech, but brand new engine as of... last year.
rotary swap my rx300 lol
nah there's no room for any thing under there
Short good
Hood*
Just LS swap it.
can't
sure you can
I believe a couple of GMs had an LS driving the front wheels.
also where would you put the transmission?
mm or i could take the 20k that would cost and put it towards a Model 3 or a Stinger/G70
yeah, but an LS Lexus.
Lexus LS and LS Lexus RX that aint confusing at all
That's what makes it good.
can you imagine the stupidity of that
yes
That's why I'm saying you should do it.
Oh you can probably drop an LS something bigger in there.
LS4 made 300 horsepower.
pair it with a competent transmission and you'd have one hell of a sleeper
considering mine on its best day made 220hp and I suspect some of those escaped over 20 yeras
biggest thing is the trans just neuters it
You would be stuck with a 4 speed.
that 4 speed can't handle any more than it does rn
someone turbo'ed their 1MZ and it blew up in like a week
putting 275 or something
errrr
the trans did, not the engine.
hi cat
I'm talking about the LS swap plus trans.
The Impala SS had the LS4 with a 4 speed.
Those cars were so stupid.
It was GM in total denial.
"we still make real V8 powered cars, look!"
the chevy ss wasn't bad
The Chevy Impala torque steered everywhere.
And the Pontiac had reverse staggered wheels to control torque steer.
LOL really?!
yes
"The Grand Prix GXP also offers a unique feature of the different-width 18 in (46 cm) polished Alcoa forged aluminum wheels. The front wheels are 8 in (200 mm) wide, and the rear wheels are 7 in (180 mm) wide."
lmaooo
no but once oyu factor in all the mods you'd need, new ECUs, all kinds of sh*t, you' easily be 20k into a swap like that
oh most probably.
At this point I'd buy a Grand Prix GXP just to keep around as a novelty.
side note: I'd buy the sh*t out of a Genesis G70 with a V8
a friend had a Grand Prix GTP (v6 w/ supercharger) but he crashed it twice
The dumbest car and the biggest reason GM filed for bankruptcy.
now he has as 2017 Civic he can't afford and is working two jobs to pay for it!
xD
he's a dumbass.
and lost?
(not streetrace, stoplight up to speed limit)
no, he won. handily.
and was gloating later
I was about to say. lol
so I responded with "at least i'm not 25k in debt and working two jobs, mine's paid for!"
so
uh
yeah he got mad
lol
hehe
Texas Edition Expedition
Nice
nice!
I suppose i poked a nerve because idk why else he'd be mad about it xD
It's no lower a blow than gloating about beating a 20 year old crossover in a race.
But why not something... used?
25k?
its effectively new
At that price, pretty much.
when he got it it only had like... 8k miles or something
Only 3 grand off the brand new price.
At that point... why NOT buy new?
That was my very point when buying.
if I'm spending 25k I want more than 180hp w/ a CVT
I could get a 'rolla for 3k less than new.
Or I could buy brand new at 23k.
The era of "oh a car loses half it's value driving off the lot" is dead.
No car you want to own.
yep
just for comparison sake
here's a 2007 Toyota Camry base, with 346k miles
they want 5400$
...
Or you can get a BMW 550i M-Sport
That's dumb.
Lol.
I would get neither.
same
(though in truth I would have been tempted by a Dinan 550i that was on here a while ago)
5 grand is a lot for a 13 year old car.
5 grand is a joke for a car with close to half a million miles.
first gen RX trades hands for 5k all day
Maybe my perception of new/used prices is skewed.
I get they're going up, but some of the asking prices are stupid.
kbb says my car is worth 900$, cheapest one on CL is 1400 w/ a dead engine and trans

cheapest not broken one is 3500 and it has over 200k miles
Who are you to argue with the forces of demand, supply, and market?
Honestly.... the gen 1 RX's may be getting up there in cult status.
honestly it looks like its in pretty good condition
I wonder if there's a subreddit for your car... 🤔
lets find out
lol
there's one for Lexus but not my car specifically
I found out that I've got the only desert bronze metallic Lexus RX on Vinwiki
which is kind of cool I guess
nice
weird, but no reason not to be proud
You have a rare car.
Who cares if it is a Lexus RX.
My manual Corolla hatchback is rarer than say... A Ford Mustang.
Yes, I checked.
https://i.redd.it/gzsae04b9o341.jpg This is me.
Same
Not gonna even lie. I go into the garage and look at my car before I go to bed.
weird, but who cares. This is why we're banished in the car channel.
Mine aint fast, nor is it classically beautiful but its mine and i love it xD
(also its comfortable and reliable)
amen
It ain't a Civic, but at least you aren't 25k in debt. 😂
no wait... 🤔
It's better than a Civic. At least from that era.
hmmm... okay question time.
At what point does a new car become better than an older luxury car?
Let's just go for a top nacho car.
At what point does a Civic/Corolla become better than an S-Class?
We could aim for Lexus as well actually.
A lot of the building ideas and tech used in the LS400 in the 90s is being used on my Corolla today.
I forgot the specifics, but the body gaps on newer Toyotas are as tight as the OG LS. Same methods to ensure that.
But S-class... at what point would you say a Civic/Corolla is better than say... a 90s S-Class?
Provided we're not talking about the rock bottom base model, I'd say arguably in some regards right now
Let's go wither high trims.
Less gimmicks, but certainly more reliable than the S-Class.
No reason to cheap out. lol
Moooood
Probably closer in terms of actual useable power than you'd like to admit
I see we're talking about Mercedes and reliability
Cause apart from interior space... I have leather, nav, ABS, traction control...
mhm
Not just reliability. Everything.
It really is a crying shame that the E60 M5 is terribly unreliable
That would be a really cool car otherwise
Actually
They aren't as bad as they look
The main rod bearing problem is due to people revving the tits off them when cold
Only the manual version is worth buying.
It all went to hell when BMW went to forced induction.
And running the wrong oil
Though apparently the new inline 6s are back to being good.
The SMG is universally terrible though
The N54 is a great motor, everything around said motor will blowup
Manual version would be good, and if you take care of the common failures (VANOS, Rod Bearings etc), I think you'd be in decent shape
At least BMW's design was literally just an automated manual.
Instead of everyone else's fancy pants weirdness.
There's upgraded parts for vanos and rod bearings iirc you'd be in okay shape
That is according to a friend.
There'd be a half dozen more smaller things to fix preventatively
The E46 SMG was just a manual with computery bits.
Actually sometimes buying an SMG and swapping is more cost effective
Thought you'd need to redo all the ECUs and stuff wouldn't you?
SMG cars are around 3-4k less in my area which is pretty significant
Nah
Coding the ECU is easy peasy
Oh lol the SMG is literally half the price of the manual here
E46 M3 remains a dream car of mine.
the manual version goes for ~25k while you can get the SMG for like... 10 - 15
BMW software is free, cable is around 20$
But... I'm not willing to put work into an old car.
But it shouldn't need to be coded at all
The car will act normal
Since its still the same box and everything
oh shit
there's a 6MT V8 Audi S5 coupe w/ Stage 2 for sale
and it has the best wheels
Does that require an engine change before an oil change
?
Issa audi meme
is that one of the ones that blow up?
i thought it was like early 00's that they blew up
same engine, multiple generations
Shame VW went to that tiny 1.4T engine.
They had a good thing going with the 1.8T.
Honestly
Worst part is we might not even get the new Golf in the US.
I'd get a BMW.
thats one fine looking auto
Ranger Rover might be a bit too quirky for my tastes.
Give me a nice generic used M3.
qUiRkS aNd FeAtUrEs
lol
Man... even with dream garages, my pragmatism shows through.
"hmmmm... what unreliable luxury car is the most reliable... well BMW doesn't have as many horror stories... yes let's do that."
Well if we're talking dream garage, I stand by LFA, Model 3 Perf, RS6 Avant
The worst you'll get out of 90s BMWs are burned out LCDs and droopy headliners.
Hmm
2017 F-Pace or 2016 RR Sport supercharged that I posted above for 50k?
Range rover all the way.
errr... neither tbh
Your mechanic agrees with you.
You don't have one? You will now.
Luxury cars kinda annoy me these days.
They really don't offer much extra beyond power and supposedly build quality.
And in some cases they make incredibly crap compromises to livability. They knowingly give themselves a bad rep for...
I'm not sure what even.
true
(6th try is the charm)
from what i've seen the Model 3 has been much more reliable than the s or x were
which is good
yep
the S and X have certainly improved though
some cars were a bit of a nightmare back when they were new
Not a valid one.
They trumpet how simple and reliable EVs are but then their cars fell apart for the first few years.
dunno, building cars for the first time is a pretty great excuse.
Tesla went from refitting a Lotus chassis to building a car fresh.
Ranger Rover has been doing it for what... 60 years?
@stoic ledge hehe i havent finalised the sale but it looks like its going to be the rs 3
And this is no cla haha
A, CLA, what's the diff xD
Mercedes .pog.
What?
Renault .pog.
So for some reason, Rockstar has added the Corsa C to GTA Online
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMoPMIEvXkw
The perfect car for Rockstar to give us, an iconic car for all in the UK. Bringing me back to when I was a young chav... ahh the times. Thanks GTA. ❱ Subscri...
And they named it after the people in the UK who modify them
https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-social_behaviour_order
Lol
Hmm... 15,000 kr for a Quaife LSD...
Basically €1,500.
But that's without the housing and stuff.
But it should be easy enough to reuse the current one.
that's dreadful lmao
falcon heavy, like spacex's heavy launcher
Ah.
@fair bronze
Smh
Could fit more beer?
Toyota's new special polymer hatch means it's lighter
C'mon Toyota. It's plastic. Y'all used plastic for the hatch.
I love the stinger. It could be more roomy for my beer but oh well. And @jagged coyote my fat tire beer is under all the shitty beer.
Kia better build a gen 2 Stinger.
Honk honk
They forgot the paint on that Stinger
Jk, the Stinger is awesome
5G will be great for autonomous driving.
If you ignore the fact the signal can be lost because a semi is between you and the tower... sure.
@stoic ledge I've heard that a time or two
Interesting
Supposed to
@indigo coral nice cars , SWEET ,
My dream car. Probably never happen but oh well, can't hurt to dream.
They're becoming a lot more affordable
on the used market
A nicely specced i8 from 2016 is 66k
And rapidly depreciating
Finally got my car back from the shop. Definitely stay away from Caliber Collision.
No, they told me it was fine after all. And seems fine to me
Well haha, they told me they thought it was blown. But then later told me just moisture from sudden temperature change
I will say. Despite no longer having a boost leak (I think the dealership I bought it used from gave me a cracked intercooler) they messed up by not putting a hose clamp on my charge pipe so I blew that off instantly
Rip, easy fix though?
Fucking hit and run in the night
:(((
Only the mirror is damaged
I'm getting a dashcam for christmas for that exact reason
It's a pain in the ass, I'm kind of inexperienced in car work. Didn't realize Ford designed the radiator to be supported literally only by one bracket I HAD to take off to reach the charge pipes
Alebret that really sucks, I feel for you.
Ty
Where are you from tho ? @jagged coyote
in the pays de la loire
France ?
yep
Je me disait aussi les routes ressemble aux nôtre 😂
gotta keep it in english tho
No mods live here c:
Yo les mectons
Nice mirror, classic hit
If it’s only the mirror it’s alright I guess u can even change it by ur self
nah there is smthing that broke
i think they'll have to change the whole assembly
except the electricals
the lead for the heated mirror looks fine, the lead for the blinker too, don't know about the motors
but the frame is done for
Insurance takes it?
well yeah, hit and run
my father is gonna see that with them
but it's more than likely we are not gonna pay for the damages
Well depending on what insurance you have they may not take this in charge
Otherwise just do it yourself it's much cheaper
they took the charge when my mom punched a hole in the back lights while reversing in a tree, i think they'll take that
tbf it was our big ass ford galaxy at the time (not the muscle car, i wish)
was was it the 307sw
Oh yea boi
307 🍆
I had one and I also smashed the rear panel when parking lol
There was like a fense with some flower pots holders that I could because it was to low and then boom
Smashed the trunk door
Oof xD
that had to be expensive
That Renault Megane mirror is
Insurance is probably more expensive
If you can, get a nice used one
too bad it wasn't the other, i have to change the temp probe
What car u got ?
megane 3 estate
Nice car @jagged coyote
Then I "fixed" it (**fixed = removing the interior plastic and hit it with a hammer)
yep, very comfy to drive
(by "it" I mean the trunk door)
Oof yes now i 'member your drawing xD
Our Peugeot 307 Break had 0 damage in 10 years of ownership 👀
And tbh I didn't give a sh!t about it as long as it drives well
Cleaned it once in 3 years xD
there's a guy on another server that washes his car like 3-4 times a week
by wash i mean the exterior
A chômeur certainly xD
idk but he is kinda annoying, always posting the same pics, psting pointless videos
lol
I wash mine... Idk, every month to every three months depends on the weather
and he says he's got debt on the car, and goes ahead and put in custom headlights
307 gang 👀
Nice :o
That's my problem : I love cars but I'm so lazy I can't wash my car
But when I'll have a nice car I will have to take care of it...
My dad is often like Hey MK, put your car on the street so I can wash it... So I do xD
Your?
Wut
Wut
U drunk?
No
9:30 is a bit early to be drunk
Exactly
Depends on your country
Oh and someone in my class had her window slide down
But we got an explanation for both
It's Friday the 13th
Wut
some ppl say 13 is a lucky number, some ppl say it's an unlucky number
right now it's unlucky
I did fell with my bike once on Friday the 13th 😮
Bullsh🥖ts
Wdym
@stoic ledge well it’s bad luck I guess
I don’t think It’s because it’s the 13th
@dry fern duh xD
More of the mirror with what it's supposed to look like
Insurance is most likely to cover the cost
And that's the only broken bit
Found the black cover a few meters away in the leaves, mirror is MIA for now
Insurance is only fraud here (not to say it is for you, this is only my opinion on it). When i hit a deer and needed to replace my driver side headlight lens it was cheaper to buy it myself than what i got with insurance
think it was roughly 900 sek vs 1500sek
If your insurance price goes up it might not be worth it at all
Its only worth it if its gets stolen, turns into a fireball or gets in a huge accident where recovery of it is "impossible", but gonna change to an enthusiast insurance since i got too many mods on it now that wont get covered on a normal one.
^
I had to replace the passenger-side mirror, when it finally gave in, when I bumped into it while cleaning snow off my windshield. (I slipped on ice, and hit it with my side)
It was already loose. I'm guessing the previous owners bought some cheap replacement, cause the plastic around the screws was just weak.
I went to the junk yard, and got a newer model year of my mirrors. Both sides, because they can fold forward and back, while the original couldn't.
So a bit of an upgrade 🙂
oof
That's the Buick logo xD
So they are just gonna go down lol
😂
PSA did turn Opel in to a profitable brand within 1.5 years while it lost money under GM for 20+ years
Peugeot ftw
508 is a beauty
Boom watcha gonna do haters
Mirror is KIA, the street sweepers came by
Is it a Stinger? (Sorry bad joke)
(I was thinking about making the same joke xD )
Y i k e s
that is an interesting solution
LTT tape
It's a temp solution I assume?
That is perfect
perfect
Yes this is temporary
And yes didn't notice ltt tape
That you can buy at
lttstore.com
lol
nice thiccccc butt
When your friend says the new corvette looks like a maclaren smh
Oh and I saw a C3 with a cumins logo too
A Citroen C3 with a cummins? xD
logo was most prob a fake, trunk was covered in stickers too
well "most", more like definitely a fake
smallest cummins is 3.3L and i doubt you can fit that many ponies in the engine bay of the c3
I saw a Kia Optima with a "PLUS" badge and a big ass wing
Lol
Quite clearly aftermarket
Just wait till you see a 2nd gen Prius with a rotary engine badge
you rev at it in V8
and it revs back in brap
Toyota Suprass
too bad I will most likely never be able to drive one
...or any other car that is a manual
Just get the new one. It's automatic.
Do I look like a Rich man to you?
The new Supra is cheaper than a clean Mk. IV.
well even if I had the money
Not in Europe, where you have 50% car tax
for a car that has the wheel on the right side
in a country that usually has wheels on the left
Supras were sold in RHD and LHD.
how much is an MkIV?
