Alright yall, who is wanting a puzzle to solve

Must be familiar with PATS and fords PCM's as a whole

#

It goes like this

#

2000 mustang, auto to manual swap. Auto pcm cant be used because obvs, and I can't just throw the manual pcm in there because its married to the key and instrument cluster.

#

So there are a couple options

#

Flash the auto pcm to manual, turning off all shift points and anything related to the auto trans. And disable PATS. About 250ish usd on Ebay and about a weeks worth of time

#

Take the manual pcm from parts car and disable PATS through tune (75 usd from ebay). But I'm not sure this will work. I have read it will, and have read it wont. I will be using the manual wiring harness for the trans and the pedal assembly yada yada yada

#

Or I can buy my own tuner, (SCT, Delta force etc etc) but they run about $400 usd. I can get the tunes for PATS disabling and auto trans if I choose that route

#

All online and for free

#

This also allows future growth with future upgrades and proper tuning

#

No one around me can do this (I've checked as far as 3-4 hours out)

#

So what do yall think

Those multi-spoke wheels are also something I like about the M cars.

Anyone here familiar with importing cars to the USA like jdm cars? I've heard mix things about it being illegal to drive and have insured cars that do not meet us road requirements. Like if I bought Japanese version Nissan Silvia S15.

My understanding is that certain cars are deemed illegal due to their designs not meeting USA requirements. However other cars are allowed despite being a right-hand steering vehicle.
