eh it has its place
ct200h?
any other toyota hybrid is literally a prius with a different body, lmfao
The other hybrids get the same milage or very slightly less for more room
Inside and in the trunk
first was a 2002 Mountaineer Limited, 4.6L V8 w/AWD. Current is a beat to shit 2000 Ranger XLT 4x4 with the 4.0L V6, but that keeps committing suicide every chance it gets, so rn am borrowing my dad's F150, is an '02 with the 4.6L V8.
I doubt I can brag much about mpg tho

@fossil leaf smiles per gallon > miles per gallon
With the exception of the Highlander, the Prius is the only 5 door Toyota hybrid (unless the new Corolla hatch has a hybrid trim)
@civic girder who cares, when you get more space in the Camry
The Prius has no place in the Toyota lineup
I have, at most, 1 other passenger. There's plenty of space for two people up front. And I prefer hatches to sedans
@vital glen yos. Is also why I need to find a way to yoink my dad's Mustang since he hasn't had the time to do much with it. Is an '88 Foxbody Convertible, GT 5.0
I like my RX though, even though it's slow, and I get shit for driving it all the time
mmmmmm has full exhaust from the engine back IIRC, but he did the swap when I was younger. Sounds hella nice for sure.
The prius was the only hatchback in Toyota's lineup will the new Corolla, so it definitely had its place
But the Camry does everything better than a Prius for the same price
What's the point of a prius?
The Camry is a sedan, the Prius is a hatchback
the prius makes a statement ๐
literally two different markets and purposes
I'd never buy a Camry, no matter how desperate I needed a car
Big boat sedans are not my style
I snagged my car for so cheap it would be hard to say no
The Camry is better
The Camry hybrid is the same car, different chassis
its not better at all
they're the same
Yes, it has more space
Do you constantly have more than 1 or 2 people in your car?
Yes
ok, then Camry better suites your needs
I wouldn't buy one
for me, Prius better suites my needs
this doesnt look half bad
though I'd still take the Stinger GT over it
Other than I want the Prius
Stinger GT is damn near perfect imo
bruh, I literally drive a Prius. The hatch is super nice
Stupid Prius driver
Hatchbacks are way better than sedans for sure
One of my coworkers has a Stinger GT
other than the WRX, that can be a sedan
yea
The Stinger looks good, is reliable, it's fast, handles well, i love it
bugeye sedan > bugeye hatch
hatchbacks are the same size as sedans but you can fit more in the back and see out the back better on a lot of them, thus why I like them better
here comes some gearhead treachery (cant find the right word) : I don't like the WRX
I don't like the stigma associated
and frankly it's not that appealing to me
Yea, the Stinger is legit
my coworker took me for a ride in his Stinger, it g r i p s hard
and I like the older boyes, the '04s and older, I don't think there even was a hatch
but hey- to each their own
the '99 boyes hella pretty
yea
@fossil leaf If you can guess what I drive, you get a 5 dollar steam gift card
@civic girder agree - my next car vey well could be a Stinger GT (used, of course)
My RX shows no signs of quitting yet, so I hope to get another 40-50k miles out of it
at least
if not more
I like hatchbacks, wagons, retro coupes, and I'm extremely picky on anything else
I despise SUVs with a burning passion in the depths of my soul
uuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh @vital glen camry? that or a bugeye or IDK.
no complaints here
@fossil leaf lmao no, I drive a h1
I paid $0, for a car with 75k miles and only one previous owner (of whom I know quite well)
H1?
Hummer h1
With the 6.5L Detroit diesel
no wonder you hate the Prius, lmfao
I paid 150$ for a car with 117k miles, it's reliable and not actually bad at all
@civic girder I hate the prius, but not hybrids
Very very nice to drive and comfortable
H2s and H3s are just tonka trucks from what I've seen
the H1 was basically a civvie HMMWV, right?
nice wideboyes
yee
Same everything else
does it have the same everything tucked in the cab?
Yes
oooooooo
The Prius is just a hatchback. Now, if you're talking about the weird van/wagon/hatchback Prius, I agree, they are ugly as sin and should never have existed. The hatches are fine, I like mine, and hatchbacks certainly have their place, regardless of your opinion on them.
so you get that nuts ground clearance from a vehicle that looks low
I hope my uncle's jeep is actually running this time I visit
It is 16inches
I want to drive that son bitch
Yea
for between 110 and 200k there's much better cars
I would never want an i8
I personally like it, but wow is it ever overpriced
It handles well, sure, and its decently quick, sure, but a lightly used 458 or Huracan kicks it's ass into next week
@fossil leaf https://youtu.be/CXvxIy4YupI
Watch the Hummer Ohio Extreme Squad climb a 6 ft vertical wall . . . brought to you by BlackHumvee.com
I love the RX7, but I would never buy an FC. I don't really like their looks.
And I am going to buy an RX7 FB sometime in the next few years
I haven't done this exactly, but I have done some dumb shit
I love the FB. Looks so nice
Have fun with rotary
^
lol
oh I know, it'll suck dick when (not if) it breaks
I want to do that
I'd rather get an E60 M5, fix it's ticking time bomb problems, and drive that
I want to scale a 6ft wall like that
but that's also kinda the point. I'm fine with the work required, I like the sound of rotaries, and the FB looks sooooooo good
I have just hopped right over a 3ft wall no problem
If my car takes a ๐ฉ before I can afford a Stinger GT then I'll probably end up with a 2008 550i m-sport. 360hp, rear wheel drive, manual, and good looks
From a standstill
walls? you mean advanced speed bumps @vital glen
the V8 in the 550i is actually not even bad
waow
it's decently reliable
@fossil leaf yes
(no toyota or lexus but its definitely not bad)
@dire fiber Oh hi there
I just want mustang with 5.0L V8
Eventually I want to put like a Fiesta ST engine in my Prius and make it manual
after I have a new daily and some cash to spend
hell yea
for 7k thats a damn awesome car
roll up to cars and coffee with a fast Prius that actually makes not lawn mower noises
lol
there's a 550i Dinan Tuned thats similar to that one for 10k here
v
damn
The Toyota Prius won't get you anywhere in a hurry, but when Nick Filippides of American Racing Headers fits the car with a Hellcat crate engine, this "eco-c...
if you get a proper exhaust the Fiesta ST engine does sound pretty nice
I've seen that before, a Hellcat Prius would be lit
but the modifications required don't appeal to me
can you take off an exhaust w/o cutting things
Itd be hilarious to see what my RX sounds like sans exhaust but I don't want to break anything/cut things
I have to wonder how bad it'd be
It can't be any worse than a straight piped modern Ford Fusion
I want to try it but I don't know if it'd break anything.... xD
The factory exhaust is probably rusted out anyways, you might be better off cutting off and getting a replacement fitted
@civic girder yeah, like a lawnmower
I don't think it's that bad, we don't live in an area with significant rust.
Very rare they salt roads or anything
ah, see, I live in the rust belt
The car has lived here it's whole life.
When I recently replaced oil, I noticed very little rust
but I also wasn't looking
so
inside the engine bay is pretty rare
you only see it on really old cars that haven't been taken care of
I'm sure there's a little bit but I know it's not bad at all
Hard to have a 20y/o daily without any rust at all
I have 0 rust ๐
aka, my friend's '89 Crown Vic. The entire exterior of the engine caked in rust
most shit is now made out of aluminum, so no rust
Mines 14yo and aluminium @vital glen
fancy
(burns a bit, old piston rings. Only when I really get the revs up high does it burn a bit, not even remotely a concern, just add a bit here and there)
no blue smoke or anything like that
get new piston rings then
that's a lot of work
Always nice to burn up oil
might even give you better mpg
Lol
It's a very very small amount
rotary life
I'll have fun with that
Runaway diesels ๐
the engine on my ranger has rust on it, actually can't fix it myself most of the time because stuff is rusted on an just strips, lol
whoever had it before my family treated it like absolute shit
@tropic silo aluminum does not rust it corrodes, and that initial surface corrosion prevents corrosion. Fun fact

I mean, you could be my friend, who literally takes two things of oil in his trunk because his Crown Vic uses oil as a sacrifice to keep running
Also havent seen corrosion yet
wow
Treated from factory then
nah I just check it every couple weeks. It's been better after a change as well.
redlines happily, no wack stuff goes on, no weird smoke or noises at all
I'm scared shitless to redline my car lol
But then ago, my entire underside of the car is plastic. So i don't know whats hiding up there
I worry if I do, my transmission will be left down the road xD
oof
Hahaha
My car, when you actually decide to make use of that 110hp, exists solely at redline; because CVT
Particularly because something's not quite right rn
this is smol truck so I assume the transmission will be fine
I need to do some looking into it to find out what exactly is the matter

I thought I fixed it but I suppose I got the cause wrong
One of my old coworkers dropped the transmission in his jeep like 4 or 5 times
dropped it?
broke it
it fell off
Rip
oooooof
Just how?
^
it's an oooooooollllllllldddddddd Wrangler
mine is auto so I can't miss-shift or something derpy
I still need to solve my noise problems from trans, I made it better but it's not completely gone
Can a misshift make it pop out?
make what popout?
Trans
tfw I still don't know how to drive stick cause the only manual my dad has is the aforementioned Mustang and he didn't wanna teach me on it
At least its not one of my other coworkers, whose car we have nicknamed the "Danger Ranger"
Depends
Wanna drive my car? @fossil leaf
Some guy told me that I should be embarrassed to drive my car
you should
and I'm like bitch you drive a 91 Civic that you beat to shit, quit talking trash
No he shouldnt
I don't why
lol
you drive a lexus rx something right?
yeah 1999 rx300
wot car is it @tropic silo
hes got an audi a2
An Audi A2
oooooo
haha beat you
ah is smol hatcback boi
my car is american-small but european-huge

had to google, I only know the A4 and A8 and such
It looks bigger than my car, god damn
"compact" SUV
lol
Fyi @fossil leaf my A2 has more space than a A4 from 2017
@indigo coral amerismall euroge
What I find dumb is that Kia classifies the Soul as an SUV
its a crossover
Wut
its not even that
In uS?
It is a cube
its an awkwardly shaped hachback
do you classify the RX 300 (first gen) as a SUV or crossover?
cube could be used
out of curiosity
RX300 is SUV
I call it a truck
unless it is body on frame it is a crosssover
I hate SUVs, they all u g l y
it ain't a truck unless it is body on frame
it's a smol car
i parked next to a big lifted jeep and his door handles were near my roofracks
like wtf
how do oyu even get in a car that big
lol
I kinda want a Mazda B2200 in manual
high*
Easy
stepladder
A crane
@civic girder is this ugly?
Elevator
@indigo coral that is racist
It's not loaded for me
So I'll say yes
I hate the rims on that example
looks fairly badass, but it's not good looking
was gonna say, I'd go diff rims for sure
@vital glen It looks good in its own way. I don't particularly like the look, but its not ugly
^
it doesn't have ctis
I can drive under that car almost
lol
stock ground clearance on a h1 is 16inches
I wish Subaru/Toyota would put a V6 in the FRS/BRZ
and not 200hp mess
yeah its veeery slow
that goes 0-60 in 7 seconds
particularly because that power comes on so high
mustang ecoboost is cheaper, faster, has a ton more power, and the pwoer comes on sooner
though the brz handles better
why the fuck would you put a V6 in a BRZ/86/FRS?
If they put anything other than a straight 4 it would have to be a straight 6
it couldn't fit a straight 6
put a turbo, put whatever the fuck you want, it's just too damn slow for it's own good
All the great Japanese retro sports cars have straight 6's
it would have to be small i6
you could still make more power than an i4
but all the Japanese retro cars with an i6 are long
Thoughts on the new Supra?
is the BRZ an i4? I thought it was a flat 4
it is a whatever car
ugly
@fossil leaf it is a boxer
But I never really like the looks of the Supra, not even the Mk4. Its good, but not my style, too round
you know why it has a boxer instead of an i4 or a v6?
Subaru
because it's a subes?
Lower center of gravity
I just realised today how similar the Supra and the Aston Martin Zagato Copue loks from the side
@stoic ledge the engineers said to make more room inside while keeping the car small
not for anything else
that was the main goal

I mean the Zagato looks way better
I would call the new Supra more of a fastback than a coupe, but that's me
but the side profile is veery similar
boxers are stupid compact
^
and eh, new supra doesn't look that good
^
New Supra has an ok ass, but an ugly face
the front is just an overstyled mess
@vital glen that was my second reason, they're flat and would easily fit in the teeny BRZ, from pics I've seen it doesn't look to have much room
@fossil leaf they designed the car around the engine
Like, in order to make the car small, they put in a boxer
aha
boxer engines are compact, can be lighter weight, and their size allows you to adjust the center of gravity for better handling

They wanted 2 extra seats in the back while retaining the smallness
Same
also, haven't looked too much into Supras, but the older ones look much nicer and cleaner:
like, the main reason
Funnily enough, a lot of Porsche's use 6cyl boxers
the mk4 is sexy
they're similar
particularly the tail end
again, similar
W16, kek
I know someone who owns a Passat W8
like why on earth would you buy a car with a W8
@indigo coral yee, they're very nice, clean cars
I think it has the length of an i3
a w8 sounds like hell to maintain
instead of all this wack overbuilt stuff
yeah the mk4 is very simple
I don't adore the bone stock look, nor do I love the crazy heavily modded
some mods are nice to improve aesthetics though
if you wanna go all super aero, have to do it right. The Ford GT did, it's a gorgeous car and has all the super aero shit
yeah the ford GT is awesome
Engine types I like:
I4
I5
I6
rotary
that's about it. DCOE carbs are bae, and I don't really care for turbos and supers.
V8 is ok
stupid commie
but I just don't really prefer them
they're very modern but also very clean, perfect balance of complicated and simple
V twin is motorcycle engine, lmao
and ree no embed, wait a sec
some cars used them
that'd be interesting to drive
reee
reee
I kinda want to drive a car with a 800hp i3
won't work as a normal jpg, lmao
that'd be intersting
uhh...
the new GT is awesome
yea, but doesn't look that good, imo
F
Speaking about i5's you know what american car used that as the base model? @civic girder
I know Audi likes 'em
I really like it, is gorgeous IMO, but as always looks are subjective. GT40 is a gorgeous car too though, very nice.
don't know all their i5 models, but I know the S1 had one
interesting
yeaaa

this is the i5s that were used
I've noticed that 95% of the cars I like are all 1999 or older
exactly
the 2008 GT isn't massively different from the GT40 though, it keeps a lot of the same lines. Has more seams though, it's not as smooth overall
Original Skyline GTR, 240Z, and RX7 FB are the cars I think look the best
because automakers had no regulations to follow
or very little
so they had more freedoms
They're safer, but you can't make cars as pretty
neither
exactly
tru, you can just not be an idiot and your chances of crashing in either are greatly reduced

If I like a car I'm not gonna crash it
only way it would get wrecked is someone else's fault
I legitimately saw a yugo
Someone elses used bubblegum
I suppose that could work
tons of free gum
no, public school desks
aha
I think that's a render
guy does it with Porsche's and such too, just to see how they'd look as rally type cars
I lvoe the Model S ute and wagon renders he made
Yea, has to be a render
The R35 is u g l y
the new GTRs?
^
they're not the prettiest for sure
off road actually makes it look slightly better
@civic girder but the ugly duckling story is a story about becoming a swan
you missed the moral of that story
swans are just fancy geese
aka evil and undesirable
may or may not have had a run in with a goose when I was small enough to be smaller than said goose, and I don't remember much other than terror and an angry honking bird
This is cancer
But this is a real car
aha
Not the ugly fastback-thing, not the V6 R35 that tries too hard
the original, and the best
is ver nice looking but also really different to the rest
straight 6 with side draft carbs, no turbos
shorter and boxier boye
its from the late 60's
yea, me too
same with trucks, I like the older boxy ones more than the new ones
and ooooo OG Fiestas and Golfs
hella fine
that actually looks pretty cool, ngl
I'd want both
were they actually made or is it just an artist's rendition?
its a rendition
F
I don't think its real
It's not quite the same, but its till sexy
^
ew no
oof
It's the ugly Pulsar, lmao
^
what kind of car should I make
@civic girder no with a v5
Automation?
ye
It's been early access for 4-5yrs or whatever
2L v16
I don't have the V16 dlc

Smallest v6 you can get to
Yea, its a big rev race engine
I love automation
Just making really weird and extremely powerful engine capable of easily going 500kmh with the write tune
I don't have it lol
Since you can also export the cars you make in automation into BeamNG.Drive i do put alot of time in them both
@vital glen i could make a 2L V16
I got the DLC too
Yea, I don't make horror story nightmare machines
If I make an ugly and shit car, I make it good ugly and just boring but very drivable
I have my own manufacturers and rivalries, lmao
neither am I
So i often leave them blank but tune the wheels and suspension to perfection
Not that I'm good at it or anything
I just do whatever the game says is best
laaaame
Yea no fixtures. Especially when I'm just looking what setup would be fun. After I've decided what type of body, suspension, engine and transmission I'll go with the fixtures
I make something, test it, and then revise it later if need be
Ever made a 11L V16 AWD powered mustang?
no
I did make an 800hp turbo i3 hatchback
yep
How didn't it blow up?
quality sliders
Ahhh you use those too
I made a minivan with a racing V8 once
$80k for a minivan with 35mpg
Then I went and made a different minivan with 38mpg for $35k
Interesting
the quality sliders dramatically increase cost, if you care about that
Yea. I never touch them
Only the one that changes the valve float alot. But only when completely necessary and when just making a insane engine
I usually just use the cam profile to control valve float
and use short stroke
but that's only when I want big revs
Ever able to pull this off? White hot manifols at idle
Yea
I don't know the specs of the engine anymore tho
Only that i went from the biggest bore and stroke and turbo
lol
So I hate the way the game complains about brake force
like, I'm just trying to get good brake specs in the sportiness tab
yea
I'm trying to not have negative pad type on this race car, and the game is complaining about brake force being too high
Compound
Yea, just find out by trail and error which is the best
Trial*
Now we're making that car's rival
which is gonna have a V8
lol, I just looked at stats from my '60s race car grid
The i4 car can keep up with V6 cars easily
That black car is like the one at the hot wheels event
lol
But at the event, the front splitter was like a table
Pepega
Well, I have a few manufacturer names I came up with for my cars
The color scheme makes me want to say it would be made by Pega, since the red reminds me of the Pega Ace
I might change the body on the black car at some point
we'll see
the red car is officially named now as well
Thanks for the suggestions. Sorry for disappearing. Had some stuff come up and had to leave. The car is for my GF to go to and from work. Trying to get something budget but dependable while being safe.. Don't want her to have to finance anything.
get an early MK4 TDI
$4k will get you a really really nice one and the ALH is ridiculously reliable
my dad's 2002 Jetta is beat and has 434k km on it and it runs like it only has 20k on it
Thanks I will check it out.
@civic girder what game were you talking about?
Also, just get a civic lol @fast granite
Yo guys my Hyundai Tucson 2005 hit 450.000 miles lol
I was a kid when we got it at 6 miles at the dealership during 2005 and now I'm driving it
neat
@shadow osprey the game is called Automation
what have I created
I made a super efficient car that can beat sports cars, granted they are old sports cars, but still
a Turbo i3 that gets over 130mpg and has FWD, can beat RWD sports cars with big engines
thonk
Take a zero off that
Skiakandhskslald 13 mpg akdjwlskdhalql
Fun
But 13 mpg
I've made a sports variant of that car which now only gets 122mpg, but goes much faster and makes much more power
This body type is apparently very good for sports cars
So that sport version of the FWD turbo i3 econo car
it's literally faster than most of my sports cars....
The only car that can set a faster time on this track is a hypercar
And the hypercar is only 10 seconds faster
But I also need to throw some of my faster cars on this track and see how they do. This track favors high cornering speed and straight-line speed
(and ironically enough, the econo sports car can go over 200mph)
another supercar beat the econo sports car, by 0.00.5 seconds
another car beats the econo sports by 0.00.4 seconds
It's cool I suppose
Side profile is awesome, headlights not so much
Just my opinion though
It's a Ferrari
I love the wheels
1000 Horses in that thing
Gonna be mental

@indigo coral Gotta agree with you there, the wheels are awesome ๐
I have for some odd reason become a big fan of those two tone type of wheels (where the inner is dark, but outer is bright so to say)

I lost nitro so I can't send peepocheer ;-;
I gotchu fam

@indigo coral Did you like the tail lights on the rari?
My friend had some complaints on them
He drew those instead

I like the ones my friend drew
Fits the headlights better in my opinion
Also, @stoic ledge waddap my boi ๐
The tail lights are tolerable
looks kinda "corvette" though
I don't despise them but they're not great

I want fifteen52s but I also want dishes lol
get both
^
wait Fifteen52 is making 8 lug wheels now? I want a set and I don't even have a truck
also someone say sf90?
Yeah Ken Block was like "yo, make me turbomacs for my truck" and Fifteen52 was like "yuh"
I get the NSX tomorrow, so ask me questions by Sunday and i'll add them into the video ๐
Does Andie fit in the trunk ๐
that ferrari is fugly
I kind of like the looks of that Ferrari

ooooooooooooooooooooooo
My 810hp turbo i3 race car needs better brakes and much more downforce
you can't accelerate very well above 40% throttle because it makes too much power
The dumbed down variant (500hp, I think) is mostly driveable but needs more downforce, and it has the same brakes as the race version (so needs an overhaul)
My econo sports car is way faster and grippier than it should be, my god it is incredible to drive
quick and agile turn in that borderlines on oversteer (very easy to oversteer as well, because its super lightweight and makes a good bit of power). It makes enough power to accelerate pretty quickly and rival supercar top speed on the straights. It's just insane
It only makes around 200hp, iirc, and is FWD
It could probably use more downforce, but still
I'm not gonna tweak it, every car needs its quircks, and I can pull off 600hp turbo i5 w/ AWD times with it.
Add Nitro
๐ฎ
๐
naisu
Damn. Canโt say Iโm not jealous, even if Iโm not a huge fan ๐
Well, it's another variation of my favourite car, therefore it's beautiful lol
:PepeWOW:

@fathom socket everything is a batmobile
why not just buy the batmobile
Why not just build a turbine powered Batmobile
:PepeWOW:
I couldn't get close to that car in real life because I would nut

it's a common problem
scotchguard the interior
The mclaren senna looks godly
Could be better

Academy Award-winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale star in FORD v FERRARI, based on the remarkable true story of the visionary American car designer Carroll...
Car movies in the past couple years have been really good tbh
Minus the F&Fs, RIP Paul Walker
baby driver was nice!
but the need for speed movie was as abd as the Assasin's creed movie
Hereโs my Explorer for any JP fans here. Inside has a 19โ screen in the center console, windows 10 computer looping a 22-min park tour video, custom sound system with programmed bluetooth micro controller to broadcast โJurassic Park Tour Vehicleโ. 2x 2kW subs going in soon to emulate the stomping of a TRex and rattle a permanently affixed water cup on the dash :P
Okay, but that is just fucking awesome
yup. pretty much just went through this reference sheet: http://www.jpmotorpool.com/reference/explorer/explorer_guide.html
it's got the vector files for printing decals, all the paint colour codes, accessory model numbers, etc.
๐ค
i think you could make it "officiel replica" right?
I mean i think that's a thing
not sure tbh. haven't heard of any of the vehicles being official. Universal seems to be pretty relaxed on them though, as long as nobody exploits that kindness.
anyone know of a good guide for removing engine mufflers on teslas?
@languid forge yes actually!
In order to remove the muffler from the engine you first have to bake the pizza for 8 minutes long on 220ยฐC. While you wait for that to be done you need to check if the bread from 2002 is over its sell by date. When you are done with that, you will have around 5 more minutes to call the paramedics and roll over a random car on the street. Once the pizza is done, head over to the dollar store and buy something which isn't a dollar. Preferably a TV. You'll need it later.
So now you transform into a small can of soup and roll under the car. Locate the muffler and than stop the alarm clock from ringing. Once you did that go to the roof of the car and pretend you're superman while driving topspeed of the Tesla. This'll cause the muffler to break the sound barrier and leave the car.
inhales exhales wat just happened
i got counter-baited is what just happened
@tropic silo do the toppings on the pizza matter?
Yes they do, it needs to be a salami pixza with slices of rubber!
i only have ham and pineapple, so i guess iโm fucked then
Anybody know much about the 2011 535i 6 cylinder?
Anyone have an idea what this is its at my neighbors and i cant figure out anything on it
Thanks @quick fog
No problem
oh
lol

Nice little engine i made, the exhaust manifold might be pure white hot, but thats no worries

can't it lowers the HP, and i want more HP
2L 5 valve 6 cylinder
what kinda half-assed ferrari engine is that
10k rpm
it'll do that all of ONE time
Huh?
Just put that engine in this thing i plopped together quickly. gonna test drive it now to see what it can
okay, the gearing is just way too short, i set it to 240km/h-ish
X)
Also accidently made the suspension offroad, so ill have to change that too while im at it
Perfect combination of games imho
Liro literally just said the name?
oh man wait until you find out about Blender
you can do whatever you want
it's a pretty difficult learning process but once you know how to make mods for a game it unlocks so much
Takes time
It's too difficult
looks like a 300ZX racecar
what
Watt
i sort of wish there could be an automation + forza horizon/motorsport or automation + asseto corsa

Forza requires an intense amount of scanning for a car to be in their games
Because racing your own automation cars is fun @tropic silo
BeamNG also allows you to race,
Not the same
Beam.NG has an interesting physics engine
I'll explain a bit of history later but right now I gotta go
i think interesting is the perfect word to describe it. the destruction model is unparalleled, but the driving feels a bit..
@vital glen will you disown me if I do buy one of these?
@turbid karma yes
they're getting harder to find in my area lol then again I am moving next weekend to an area that might have more options for the older ones.
That's some nice news
I can finally bask in millennial hipster stereotypes as I drive one of those million mile shitboxes
probably more reliable than my Subaru tbh
Yep
aah yeah
The towing is only free if you take it directly to the Volvo dealer to get it serviced by them
otherwise you have to pay
Not talking crap, it's still a good program
Showroom stock race car
Anyone know of a pretty fun and reliable car that's around $2-3k? I've been looking at Miatas so far but getting more than my opinion would be nice.
yes or maybe a good old bmw (from 90s)
but i don't know what else you have for cheap in usa, certainly some cars that i don't even know
I wanna get a fun car but hey, nowhere to put it.
I'm hoping to maybe get a 300ZX to fix up, they can be had for a couple grand if you get one with a bit higher mileage
@night current depends where you live
Ooh, an old BMW or 300ZX would be pretty neat. (I live in the USA btw)
eBay
black holes for money
@indigo coral I recommend the 300ZX, my dad has the SMZ/Stillen, fun car but we gotta get a new engine cuz it seised
And tote it as your show car
