A quick google indicates that a number of reliability surveys and indexes put them around the industry average, or slightly higher than the industry average in the reliability category. Every major manufacturer has issues, lots have reputations that aren't deserved in both directions. Renault aren't that bad and VW aren't that good, for example. Anyway, that's just the data, personally some people would be bothered by buying a Renault, and that's fine. Wouldn't bother me at all.

I refuel it with "premium", but that's because regular is something we call "E10"

#

E10 = at least 10% ethanol

#

But that's not good if it sits in your tank for long, and since my car only uses gas on start-up/when the engine is cold I only use 15 liter in about 2000-4000km (4 gallons in 1200-2500 miles)
