i remember once i drove home in the summer from a friend with my gf it was lik 02:00 no one on the road it was dry so i was driving really fast like 250 260 ish and all of a sudden i see a passat closing in prett darn fast, so i was like this guy must be a cop so i slowed down and yeah it was a cop so he pulled me over and told me because io was going that fast the did not have the chance to cloack me so he warned me ( they where really chill cops) and they understoond there was relly no one on the road but still so lucky lmao

You take lessons, then pass the exam. There's nothing like that.

What we do have, it that you can take take (and pass) your exam when you're 17. You'll get your full license when you pass, but you aren't allowed to drive alone until you are 18. Until then, you'll always need a tutor, which has to be specified (you get a card with their names on it). The day you turn 18, you can do whatever you like :p

Example: At the age of 17, I took my lessons (30) and passed my exam. I did get my full license, BUT I wasn't allowed to drive alone: until I turned 18, I had to drive around with my mom or dad sitting next te me. The day I turned 18, I was allowed to drive al by myself.

The system here in Ontario is good

when you're 16 you can go in and write a test and then you get you G1, which means you have to have someone who has had a full license for over 4 years with you at all times, you can't drive on major roads like the 401 or QEW, and you can't drive between midnight and 5 am

#

If you do drivers ed, then 8 months after you get your G1 you can go take a road test for your G2 which lets you drive alone and on any roads but limits when you can drive on major roads, and you can't carry certain passengers at certain times

#

if you don't do drivers ed then you have to wait a year from when you get your G1 to get your G2

#

And then 1 year after you get your G2 you can do a much harder road test and get your full license

If I understand correct, with a learners permit you still have to take a new test to get your full license. That's not the case in my country.

I wear size 13 shoes, and above the gas pedal there was like a stray bolt or piece of plastic or something that limited how I could move my foot from the gas to the brake, so I had to be really careful to not get my foot stuck and not be able to hit the brake pedal

You would think the fucking Department of Transportation would have a little more quality control than that

i knew that more mpg=better, and that 35ish and above is like 6l/100km or less, and that <20mpg is like a tank's fuel economy

yeah, here we just read what the car says and stick with it. a 1.9 diesel reanult with 130hp has on average around 6-6.5 l/100km, some super eco cars have 4-5l/100km
