All I seem to be able to do is fly around and dig through junk piles. No one seems to have anything. Useful for sale and no one seems to buy the stuff I don't need my inventory and cargo at both full and all I can do is fly around. There def seems to be something direction missing. Like how do I get basalt to make a drill if I need a drill to mine basalt? Do I just keep digging for 25(!?!?) batteries to get this printer going? Is there no other progressions right now? I feel like I'm missing something. If I'm hard locked on the 3D printer there should be some kinda quest direction telling me to keep scoring until I unlock the printer.

thanks for this feedback - you are indeed intended to focus on unlocking the printer to progress. We know this isn't ideal right now and are working on some solutions to it 🙏

My drill needs nickel, but where do I get it from?
If it too needs basalt, then I must have found it on some junk asteroid

I was mistaken it needs nickel, and the printer needs 15 batteries.
Either way I still can't get Nickel

Hey there! Thank you for your feedback. You can press R on keyboard or Y on controller to scan wich will indicate where Nickel is on Ores Planetoids, but we're gonna patch the game with adding a little bit more Nickel pickups too!

There's nickel resources on the ground not needing the drill. You can just pick them up! But they're kinda rare and hard to spot so we're gonna adjust that.

Ok yes that should be adjusted I definitely ran around each ore planetoid and found nothing but I also didn't know about the scan option. I'll make another post with some QOL suggestions once I get everything figured out
