It is a demote, especially when all that needs to be done is ask for scrim and tournament proof. No lower bracket, no scrim losses, over the past month and a half, all tournaments have been won. In no way shape or form is that a characteristic of B. Especially when you're beating B+/A/X to win those tournaments and scrims

To keep it simple if he deserves b+ or higher he'll be able to easily get it by playing b or getting a good placement in rlcs in 2 weeks time

That's the plan, get it in quals! Hopefully this rule is not here to stay though, times have changed. Regions like Mena, Sam, and Eu are on par if not better at times. Spoke with multiple other players who've had this happen to them, its not about them being able to get it (which they've already proven) its about respecting their grind and not demoting them so low.

The rule will most likely sta unless a player has rlcs results that say otherwise. From experience in 99% of cases we place players from rank A mena or sam and they cannot hang or are middle of b at best. Id rather someone be underrated and rank up quickly, than someone be overrated and lower the quality of the lobbies above

Ranks are so inflated in NA bro you probably could easily promo out of B with maybe a few losses at most
