So I'm a few hours into the demo and while there are a few issues I encounter, most are either minor or could be easily solved with more dev time. But I feel the Blight Guardians are probably where I can offer the most constructive feedback. For the most part, I think they're fine. A brutal challenge when first encountering, but still fine overall once you get used to them.
My biggest complaint is with their meteor attack, which deals insane damage when they hit. And given how fast and frequently they fall and how little space you have to move, it's very easy to get hit by one and then stun-locked for half your health. Not helped by the fact that the Guardian is still attacking you while it's going on. Worst of which is when it does its own root-trapping attack on you when it's far too dangerous to approach it and interrupt said attack.
Three easy ways to mend this; either make the meteors deal less damage overall, make way fewer meteors fall than currently, or make the attack more easily interruptible. Personally would go for second or third myself (or both). And at the very least, make it so the Guardian can't use its roots attack while the meteors are still falling.
Other critique is a bit more minor. Its triple-claw attack has a bit too little reaction time before it initiates, meaning you can still get hit even if you dodge away the moment you notice it starting. Mitigated somewhat by the boss using it in a predictable pattern, so you can sort of pre-emptively predict when it'll happen, but still, a bit more reaction time would be appreciated.
I also feel they have too much health, turning them into damage-sponges if you already know your way around them. This might be more of a personal taste thing, though.
I think that's everything. These guys are my biggest criticism so far, and they're still not that bad by comparison. Otherwise, the demo has been really good so far!
