a game called spiral knights made by sega a LONG time ago, is not just own by another company who jjust holds the lic to it andd just keeps the servers running, but a group of people are making this emulator style using files from older versions (which would be the archive builds) , and they have already showed some game play an images that are the exact same as the other game but also some of new content that they have made

Hell, as long as it’s someone with the coding/porting/technical knowledge to do it, it can be done lol

Rn it’s possible to side load on iOS, it just sucks massively lol. You could jailbreak as well, but again that’s also a pain.
