#Tile destruction defies expectations

Just something I noticed in the last tournament that I participated in. Burst's area of affect is within "1 tile adjacent at all angles and 2 tiles parallel", and to mechs this is true however it is not the case for the map itself. As you can see in the attached image, the actual effect of burst on the map is greater than is conveyed through the preview of the burst's range.

I don't have any insight in what should be done about it, just thought I would mention it and leave it up to you RJ if changes should be made or if everything is working as intended.

Barrage correctly displays the area of the map that will be affected. So it's a slight inconsistency between the 2 abilities in how they deliver on expectations.

I think this actually has to do with how tiles are destroyed more than the burst itself. The same thing happens when mechs are knocked back thru walls - they take out tiles on either side of them too. In fact, looking at it thru that lense, that's exactly how burst functions. The two squares next to (but not beyond) the tips of the hitbox also are destroyed

Good points, I can add some colored tile highlights for the terrain blast zone (like how damage zone and clash zone are differentiated for melee attacks)

Side note about barrage - the reason is the bullets are small and don't do splash damage
