ok so i did a manifold split for my 8 coal generators and shut them off for a bit until all the conveyers and inputs were full. i have a miner on a pure node which is producing 120 per minute going into 8 15 per minute generators which should be exactly enough, but still the latter half is burning through more coal than its receiving and i dont know what im doing wrong

The only real danger is if you're building a big factory, you might be able to outstrip the local iron node availability

Dark-ion fuel contains less energy than the rocket fuel it takes as an ingredient. And default ionized fuel isn't that much better. They're both a complete waste of time, effort and resources as you'd literally get more usable power by burning the rocket fuel instead

no, they fixed a uobject leak but you can still hit the limit without a leak

every time you pull up the map it spikes up 100k uobjects and they don't go down right away when you close the map and if you open the map again it goes up another 100k uobjects. The defualt limit is 2.4M and a save game can easily be 2M uobjects on its own

I also have an extremely beefy pc. That's not where your limitations are, it's the limits of the game engine. Throwing more raw power at a system that has hard limits and shuts down to protect itself doesnt change those limits.

My game crashes roughly every 72-96, pretty consistently. This is of continuous play, since I frequently leave it open overnight to stockpile resources or skip long production times. The simple solution is to close the game when youre done playing, or at least every 24h

The in-game reboots dont count btw, they dont seem to fix the problem. It needs a proper shutdown

No idea why it crashes. It specifies its due to object limits, but Im usually standing in pretty low-volume areas to try and prevent said issues, and usually looking straight down to minimize rendered objects. Could be cache overloads, we'll never know 😂

uobjects don't really have a ton to do with rendering. They're just the primitive object that you build all datatypes on in UE. But yes, the limit is arbitrary and low for how they've implemented the game

Could be a different, unrelated issue, or a new leak. Who knows. All I know is that my game very consistently crashes after around 72-96h regardless of what I do, where I go, etc. And its always due to uObject according to crash log. Ive tinkered with settings, Ive adjusted the in-game reboot options to various settings, etc. The only thing that stops it is a true shut down to desktop and reboot, implying to me that it's a memory issue of some description, be it object leak or cache file size

I just did a mini suhi belt for my manufacturer for heavy frames beacuse it needs 600 screws/m and I don't have a belt for taht yet. so frames and reinforced beams are the same rate so I combined them to free up another screw hole
