Currently you can only find brown rabbits in the wild. These always drop the less valuable brown rabbit pelt when butchered.
I suggest the addition of a rarer variant of rabbit that always drops the more valuable grey rabbit pelt when butchered but are otherwise statistically identical.
These could be exclusive to certain biomes, like pine forest fields or near mountain tiles.
(You could make them more skittish by giving them a higher vision radius so they run away sooner)
I like the idea that they are fairly rare due to being hunted for their expensive pelts. Maybe add a task to bring someone a couple grey pelts as well for some nobles mittens?
