Why am I getting kicked? When do I stop being a new user?

• Users who were on the server less than 24 hours will be kicked for various reasons:
  • sending images in any channels;
  • account age too young;
    After a day or two (from the moment you joined the server) you will be able to do everything listed above. Please be patient.

Why is the "new user protocol" necessary?

It is implemented to avoid raids, scam bot/bot spams, etc.

Where can I post my art?

You can do so in the Art Lounge ☕️ category, with ⁠#🎨・art-gallery being the main channel to share art. Other mediums can go into their respective channels.

Why are the chats so quiet?

The main focus of this server are art commissions. Although we have both chatting and art share channels, such as ⁠chat and ⁠⁠#🎨・art-gallery, our members prioritise advertisement channels the most.

Where is the advertising channel? Why can't I post anything there?

Channels to advertise in are the Commissions 💰 and Promotions 🛒 categories. The main channel would be ⁠#🛒・paid-offers. You need the <@&471022748894756864> role to sell and advertise in the server, and it's how you can gain access to the channels.

Where do I apply for roles I want?

To apply for roles you will need to directly message our @gusty plank When applying, make sure your application fulfils all requirements. Formatting can be found here ⁠#💛・get-roles.

Can I apply to multiple roles in one ticket?

Members may apply for multiple roles at a time in one ticket with correct order and formatting, both of which can be found #💛・get-roles

Why are the rules so strict here?

Art Commissions is one of the biggest art market places on Discord. Due to our size we have to implement super specific and sometimes strict rules to keep everything balanced and safe.

I'm new! How do I start commissions?

The three main things you need are art examples, prices, and Terms of Service.
If you need help on how to price your art, feel free to make a post #1013139462500397157 with the pricing tag. For Terms of Service, we have a helpful post here: #1191922480961552424. There's information in the channel pins, and you can share your ToS if you'd like it to be checked over.
Something to keep in mind would be how to market yourself. Another guide on that can be found in ⁠#🖌️・artist-chat channel pins.

Why does a channel link say "No access"?

It is likely you lack a role. For majority of these kinds of channels you will only need an Artist role.

I don't see any channels. How do I gain access to the server?

Please head to #📜・rules and click on the green button "I understand and accept the rules" at the very bottom.

  • Click again or wait a little. Sometimes the bot is stuck or takes time to load information. Worst case scenario message @gusty plank for help.
