I also used to crash every now and then on 2033

The only thing I always did is to let my pc cool down

I think you should try other methods first before stopping the game

like restart or probably reinstall the whole game

Did you try to reinstall the game? Or restart the chapter?

I know how to open and read .dmp crashdumps but I need some other stuff that are dev-specific ^^

If you have another device that can run metro 2033 I think you should to for it
