General troubleshooting tips

  1. Does my machine meet the technical requirements needed to run the game?
    (Enhanced needs RTX capable cards)
  2. Are my drivers all updated?
  3. Do I have the correct DirectX version? (Metro 2033 issue)
  4. Have I tried disabling any Antivirus/Overlays/Firewalls? (NVIDIA Geforce Experience overlay is a common cause for crashing)
  5. Re-Checked/Verified the games files?
  6. Visited Forums to find if someone has similar issues?
  7. Lower the graphics and resolution settings.
  8. Restarting the chapter.

Common in-game issues

  1. Stuck crashing at Lighthouse:
    It seems one way to get past this is to try to rush trough and get up to the tower as fast as possible. If that doesn't work, try all of the general troubleshooting tips.

  2. Can't find DLCs
    For Exodus, once you have downloaded the DLCs, you access them trough the Chapters menu, not the DLC button (yes, it's weird)
