#is there an add on that makes anki look more simple?

Isn't that just Anki with no add-ons?
for example only keeps the normal flashcard type, and the spaced repetition without the other over whelming stuff?
ik this is a really dum question but i wanted to switch apps without getting over whelmed cuz i do get over whelmed easily due to the school work.
I'm sorry, but I don't know which stuff the overwhelming stuff is. Anki can handle a lot of complexity, but you don't have to use any of it if you don't want to.
maybe send a screenshot to show what overwhelms you?
Alr thats a great idea
I’m still pretty new to Anki, so my questions might sound a bit basic. Just a heads-up in case they come off that way.
is there any need in using these?
and i dont get what this page is for at all?
and can u share with me the settings ur using?
am a high school student that prolly will be cramming all day long
this is where you can go see all the cards you have in all your decks. on the left are filter options to find different groups of cards. the flags will only show cards if you put that flag on a card, which you can see in your menu at the top above that. there’s no reason to do that unless you want to mark cards that way for sorting purposes
learning steps is how many times you’ll see a new card the first time you see it before sending it into the scheduler where the algorithm takes control of seeing it again so many days apart. relearning steps under lapses is when you’ll see it again after it’s already gone into the multi-day steps but then you fail the card (press again). If you want to keep reviewing the same material repeatedly in a single day and you’re not really worried about remembering any of this months from now I’d recommend something like 1h 1h 1h, or 2h 2h, the more you can space it out the better.
yeah, it’s not that hard, you can really just leave everything alone and grade your cards, but if you keep using Anki, every few months you might have a thought like hey... I wonder if I could do this. and then you’ll find out one of the options in there lets you do it. gradually over time you’ll know what everything does, no need to figure it all out immediately
