Is there a way that I can do the Learning cards before doing the New cards? I believe if I just waited a bit, it would show me the 2 learning cards, but any other way than just waiting around?

If those Learn/Relearn cards are at the end of their step delay -- yes, just study and they will come first.
If those Learn/Relearn cards are still waiting on their step delay, but are showing on the red counter because they are within your Learn Ahead Limit (so technically available to study) -- they won't be pulled forward unless they are the only cards left to study. You can set your New card limit for "Today only" to 0, and those Learn/Relearn cards will be shown next. Then you can switch your New card limit back to its regular setting.
[Or if this is a regular occurrence for you, set your regular New card limit to 0. When you are ready to switch to New cards for today, switch it to a "Today only" limit of how many New cards you want to introduce.]
