- When you accidentally pressed Hard, what did you mean to press instead?
- How long has this been going on (days, weeks, # of reviews)?
- Are you using the default algorithm (SM-2) or did you enable FSRS?
- I don't know, it's been literally years since that I think lol
- No real clue- I kinda neglect the deck that this happened on. Lmfao.
- Yep, FSRS is on
though this particular deck being ruined doesn't actually affect me I kinda want to know what to do in a situation where it would
That's true, you definitely didn't screw up "Ease" -- because there's no such thing in FSRS. But you definitely could have a bad situation on your hands with FSRS.
It doesn't sound like you really remember this -- what makes you think you were using Hard inappropriately?
oH! awesome!
didnt know about that in FSRS
i just was told by a large part of the JP learning community to never press easy/hard or it would ruin ease factor
the more you know though! tyvm :3
was "ease hell" a farse then?
no, but it got very little to do with Hard, and nothing with Easy
It's just that in SM2, a card never recovery Ease, except when pressing Easy, which you almost never do
oooooooooooooh
So if you fail a card often enough, it can get stuck in permanently short review hell
yes, FSRS does not care about it whatsoever
FSRS requires you to always answers truthfully though
Hard instead of Good doesn't matter
but if you failed a card but then press Hard, that's bad
If that happend like once or twice it's nothing I'd stress about though
yeah i'd answer Hard as a "good but with difficulties"
but my post was related to missclicking in keyboard 3 as 4
That's not a big deal really
those few cards will just show up a bit earlier
cool
