is there a way to put separate card types into separate decks automatically?

i'm not used to anki in this way, so the terminology might be slightly incorrect. i'm trying to test field and card functions, and so in the cards options i can add a new card type. i'm wondering if i can somehow get the second card that is made to be put into a different deck?
