#Can I make a card automatically have a specific tag on creation?

How are you adding those notes?
Umm, by how you normally do it? Sorry I don't get your question.
I didn't think about sending a ss
Anyways, there's two cards in this note, "Hiragana" and "Katakana". I just want Hiragana to have the "hiragana" tag and Katakana to have "katakana" tag.
Oh, I get it. (It sounded like you might be importing the notes.) You can't tag cards separately. Tags are applied at the note level.
To study those separately in a Filtered deck (which is just Custom Study where you aren't limited to a menu of select options) though, you can filter them by which card type/number they are. Anything you can search for, you can build a Filtered deck for.
Another option if you want more separation between these cards all the time -- use Deck Override to have Anki create these 2 cards in separate decks each time you add a note. You can get there in AnkiDroid through 3-dots menu > Manage note types > Edit cards > 3-dots menu again.
Ohhh okay, didn't knew deck override worked that way. Although it still only works for newly created cards so I still gotta do some cleanup.
Thanks bdw
Oh wait, I can still filter the cards by the number (card:1 or 2). Not that bad I guess
The clean-up is easy too: Search for the existing cards by card type/number -- select all -- Change Deck.
