How close to the next day were the cards scheduled? Not sure learning cards scheduled to re-appear after the next-day-at are caught by the "learn ahead".

#

So maybe they got scheduled after 6am?

#

I think it doesn't work across days, but not sure.

#

If you just search for is:learn, there might be other things preventing them from showing up. Might not be due, might be buried, ...

#

Reviewing close to the next-day-at is definitely going to cause some unexpected behaviour. Many potential edge cases.

There's lots of possibilities. If you have specific cards you want to ask about, you should definitely post their Card Info and your Deck Options. We can figure out most things if we have the information.

  • How long are your learning/relearning steps? Do you have multiday steps?
  • Are you looking at the steps for the deck the card is actually in, or the deck you're clicking to study?
  • What is your learn-ahead limit?

Since the learn ahead is activated, shouldn't be instantly reviewed again?
No. Blauelf is right -- if the step will cross the day-boundary, it's converted to 1d immediately, and it's no longer eligible to be pulled forward with learn-ahead.

The bigger issue you should consider solving -- why isn't your next-day-start buried deep in your sleeping hours so that you never get anywhere near it?
