Java.outofmemory error

I tried to "ignore" the report in theotown several times and it KEPT POPPING up with this same result.
Even restarting my own device cannot help.
My OS is Android and I'm still stuck with this error message

If you encounter java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space error, that means that the game ran out of memory (ram) while processing your request or action.

If you're on mobile, there's not much you can do to alleviate this issue, closing other applications in the background might help. For PC, you can simply increase the maximum heap space as a launch argument. For example -Xmx4G will let the game use up to 4 gigabytes of memory. That is, of course if you have enough memory. Generally, it's not a good idea to allocate more than 50% of your entire system memory. If that doesn't work and you're on PC, please check if you have 64 bit Java installed, because if you don't, game can only use 2 gigabytes of memory.

On Android, TheoTown files are stored in the following directory:

• /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/info.flowersoft.theotown.theotown/files

On your file manager, by default, you should be in /storage/emulated/0/. Uninstalling the game on Android will delete all files, unless you decide to keep the files when prompted by the removal process.

If you cannot access this location through your file manager (Android 11 and up restricts access to external storage for apps), you may access these files in 2 ways:

1. Use the in-game file manager that is accessible from the region stage menu.
2. Use the Files app by Marc apps & software.

You can find your plugin, music, region and city files there as well as logs for debugging purposes.

Do I have to list what plugin is involved within these .txt?

I mean if you can it's helpful, but there's not a file that's just a running list or anything

So you'd have to add that yourself

The only thing that's involved in the log.txt is "Wires under roads" plguin

Let's think of this:
A plugin lover and of course they downloaded too many of them, from discord to the in-game plugin store.

Unfortunately so many plugins ended up eating the game's ram until it stopped working.

That's the story, I know I downloaded some good plugins from Ross The Mayor, Vönark or LPC.

That is an idea, but they need to backup the data they want to keep like maps and regions first

Instead of uninstalling, clearing all data is an alternative but the data must be backed up first in that case as well
