#Game randomly gets stuck on auto-save feature

Hello there,

when I recently started playing TheoTown on my PC I've been happening to come across a buggy auto-save situation.

Every now and then when the game auto-saves it's stuck on that screen, with the progress bar not even starting to fill, yet the game still playing all "animations" and playing sound - it’s basically endless from there.
It feels like whenever I have saved up a bigger amount of money, that seems to happen… so I have to do it all again.

Has anyone ever experienced something familiar and might have a fix for that? Maybe I didn’t take a proper enough look, but at a first glance I didn’t find something directly matching - sorry if I was just blind.

The city runs in the background during saves and when it is more zoomed out, it does use more RAM

and saving takes a lot of ram as well so my best idea here is to reduce the ram usage by zooming into the city

more frequenct saves might be helpful as well?

But im not sure about the saving particulars of the game ans whether that would make a difference
