Build a city that prides itself in a well-connected public transport network. Use trains, busses and monorail to keep people moving between the two river banks. Turn a small, forested valley in the middle of nowhere into compact, but bustling town of Frenworth.

It's time for another event yet again. Following the Transportation Update in October, this event will be transport-focused. Your city picture must feature at least one of the following buildings:

  • Monorail Station,
  • Large Monorail Station,
  • Train Station,
  • Big Train Station.

Place the plugin in your plugin folder to get started! Run "Ptag files" in #bot-commands for extra guidance.
Alternatively, you could download the "Frenworth Scenario" from the plugin store.

A few extra event limiters we have set:

  • You must use the city map provided. Do not modify terrain - the lake and river must remain mostly untouched.
  • Use of non-plugin store plugins has been disabled for an even playing ground for all members.
  • Visible elements of winter will count towards one extra vote.

Once done, submit your submission to https://discordapp.com/channels/365478391719264276/1452377223301697576 (one submission per player).
The event will run till <t:1769018400:f> - displayed in your own timezone. Ends <t:1769018400:R>

The plugin required for the event can be found in https://discordapp.com/channels/365478391719264276/371731826601099264/1452375927857090626

The top 3 winners will receive diamonds – and a Steam key for the entry with the most votes!

Hello, here is my event submission. The city includes monorails, buses, passenger trains, and an airport. The city is fairly sizeable, but the lake and the river running through the map have been kept intact. The roads have laid out the roads to follow the terrain. It's more to experiment with using diagonal roads for the first time since I tend to normally do grid roads 😄 .

Hello guys, Here's my submission.

3 beautiful settlements: The City of Evansville, The City of Douglaston, and the Township of Fremworth (The Original town that has been incorporated into the City of Douglaston). The 3 Cities have been growing rapidly with a New Train Station, interstate, and A new monorail/bus system (which is run by the county).

If you guys take a look at the density, you see that there's a whole lot more of it due to the monorail being built. (Also exasperated by the hills which the city refuses to Expand beyond)

The 3 cities are expanding rapidly with new Suburbs, a new Ring road, new apartments, and even a New Shopping Center with a Walmart. in the next 5-10 years, the 3 cities are set to be unrecognizable.

Here is my city. Began in the east with residential, commercial and some industry. Headed over to the west with big commercial and industry. Later on some residents wanted to live a bit southly. Everything is connected with monorail and one bus street from east to west. Even DSA got interest but they are hiding within the woods in the south and even sneeking some goods undergrounds from the industry...

Hello. I am Ângelo Tomás, and this is the second part of my submission my submission.

I decided to take an more artistic aproach to the scenario, and give it a little bit of my cultural identity. Santo António is based on a true Portuguese City. If you have time, read the story of this small town. Thank you for your consideration.

Here's my submission:

Frenworth began as a small village located right in between a train route going from Bovgoria, the region's capital, to Łękowo (a fictional town of mine). The first city district it would get was Frenya, a resort of sorts located near Lake Pluch. It would later grow, adding Newtonia, which would become its first industrial sector, then Beemov, which act as the western suburbs to this day.
The city would get much bigger when it would be combined with its neighbor, New Frenworth, created to control the northern harbor. In the following years, Frenworth would get more residents, and this resulted in the creation of the two Frenrail train routes.
The most recent developements include the launch of the monorail to speed up travel times in a few key areas of the city, and the DSA base, located north of Beemov, which would cause the latter to grow a bit as a result.

Screenshots show (in order): Old Frenworth, Frenya, Beemov and the DSA base, East Harbor, New Frenworth, a close-up of the football stadium and P&R East New Frenworth

Submission: The below city, Frenworth, is a bustling metropolis on the river. With inspiration taken from NYC, San Francisco, and Amsterdam, Frenworth blends key elements from these cities to form a unique style.

Old town is the heart and soul of the city. It takes up a large portion of the north-eastern side and has numerous tram and bus routes running through it

Downtown, the financial district is where most office workers go, and hence had a lot of foot traffic. Most vehicle traffic has been removed by use of trams, busses and metros.

The ICT's (inter city trains) function as commuter rail for those in the outer suburbs to get into the city center and other important area such as old town.

Transit Breakdown

Bus System: The Frenworth bus system is ran my F-MUNI, Which is inspired from San Franciscos MUNI. It operates busses and LRVs throughout the city. All the names for different routes of both the tram and busses are adopted from some of my favorite lines in the SFMTA Transit network. Once I ran out of MUNI Metro line letters for the trams I switched to ones used in NYC.

The Frenworth metro is operated my FART or Frenworth Area Rapid Transit (no pun intended). It functions as a fast, clean, and efficient way for residents to move around the city and get to nearly every major hub and residential location.

The commuter rail is known as Frentrain, which was inspired by CalTrains commuter rail network. As stated previously, it functions as a way for suburbanites to move not only into downtown, but other prominent cooridors within the city such as old town and midtown.

Hello people and welcome to Frenworth, a small city with just 4000 inhabits but quite full of life.
Frenworth appeared after the need of a stop along the main railway of the nation, as such with more people coming the city evolved and developed the train station, connected to the highway and opened some bus roads. Recently a new luxuries residential complex appeared along the path to the forest, the Residential + complex holds a number of Cabins ready for rental to anyone who wants to spend its holidays. At the end of the Frenworth its a small city looking forward to grow and someday be a major industrial hub.

(For those who wonder, I do not intend to compete and this is just for fun, any votes this city gets are not taken in count for the winners. Good luck to all and may the best win.)

Hello, this is my first time participating in a TheoTown event!

Frenworth implements an integrated multi-modal public transport system consisting of buses, monorail, and passenger trains, all of which actively connect routes across the river. The network structure follows radial and circular patterns, enabling efficient movement between districts on both river banks without reliance on private vehicles. Stations and stops are strategically placed within activity centers, residential areas, and historical corridors, while preserving the natural topography of the river and valley in accordance with the event scenario constraints. Surrounded by dense forests, the valley atmosphere is reinforced while maintaining harmony between urban development and nature.

Thank you for taking a look, and I hope you enjoy Frenworth.

The city is developed along the edge of a wide river, using the waterfront as a natural axis for dense urban growth and transportation testing. High-rise residential and commercial buildings are arranged parallel to the river to maximize accessibility and visual value, while train stations and monorail stations are placed at strategic central points to connect dense districts efficiently. The monorail weaves through mid-density neighborhoods as a secondary layer of transport, supporting local movement between clusters.

Hai!
Here is my submission

A transport network built around transfer logic, hierarchy, and flow efficiency.

This is the frenworth that started from a small town and became an urban area. The city idea is based on SURABAYA, INDONESIA 🇮🇩 but it's not 100% the same as Surabaya city. The road design was adjusted for traffic congestion at its moment.
First of all, we make the simple road : 1 way 1 lane, overtime the traffic passed by when congestion occured, we were enhanced it into a Multi-Level intersection. But it's not enough without the transportation system Thus, the transportation is really important to reduce the traffic congestion.

We made the bus-Feeder route can be accessible and connected to other transportation such as : Monorail, Train, LRT, MRT, even Airport. Here is the hierarchy of bus we made :

Feeder -> City Bus -> another transportation (i.e. MRT, LRT, KRL, etc.)

About our transportation system
Bus & Feeder ----
Feeder (FDR XX) routes bring people to nearby halte that serves the route for City Bus Main Corridor (CT XX BUS).
CT 01 BUS : Suburb -> Downtown -> Industry
CT 02 BUS : Uptown -> Downtown
CT 03 BUS : Downtown -> Downtown

Suburb: Krian
Uptown : Darmo & New West Darmo, Sukomanunggal
Downtown: TP, Siwalankerto, Gubeng, Dharmahusada, Kertajaya
Industry: Wilangun, Indro

Train, Monorail, MRT, LRT ----
Peak of transportation system: connecting area such as like Residence, Commercial, Industrial Expo, Plaza, Park and Airport.

Transportation Hub ----
Surabaya Gubeng is the main transportation network between
MRT - LRT - CommuterLine - TRAIN - TERMINAL - MONORAIL.

The train also serves intercity route (Kereta Api Jayabaya, Blambangan, Sritanjung, Logawa)

This hub enables smooth transfers between different transport modes and supports both urban and regional mobility.

Thanks for the attention

Howdy everyone!

Welcome to Frenworth, Ohio, loosely based off Cincinnati. An up-and-coming town, it features a tram-train system and a monorail system which is being extended along with bus sees and water transport as well.

A bustling city requires a bustling transportation network and Fremont is no exception. Fremont has an Interstate, I-75, where busses run through the city.

Citizens also can choose the new monorail system linking downtown to the outer suburbs.

The tram-train network allows easy travel between Civic Center and Downtown, among other places.

That is it. An admittedly small city but bustling nonetheless.

Thanks for taking 2 minutes of your day to read this. Hope ya’ll have a great day.

Here's my submission

Frenworth, powered by a nearby nuclear reactor, this city has grown into a bustling 75K+ Population with it expecting to grow more and become a CBD (Central Business District) thanks to its rapid growing southern industrial sector, planned extension of its L2 and L3 tram lines, River Ferries, Metro Lines and its rapid growing population centers means this river split city will house numerous citizens soon

Still despite that, its aging city center Monorail system has been a crucial transport network in the old city center of Frenworth transporting people to the north or south side of the city to nearby metro stations or bus stations allowing for ease of travel

hi people, here is my frenworth event submission
lowkey i am kinda inspired by older open world video game map that had distinct stuff in each zone, so yeah it's kinda video-gamey lmao

#

The city of Frenworth is populated by 57k residents and it is divided to 3 neighbourhoods (as seen from the image)

Central Frenworth is one of the biggest neighbourhood that contains 5 main districts such as the Suburbs, Industrial, Harbour, and one of the newer districts thats called New Redeveloped [CFW/NR]. Mainly, this district is connected with elevated train, metro train (connects to Riverside), and busses

Riverside district is where is the richer residents could live comfortably as the neighbourhood has multiple squares thats connected with the monorails that also connects to Downtown Frenworth

Downtown Frenworth is one of the bigger neighbourhood, it has 2 main districts (West and East) that are divided by the railways and streets placements, it also houses the Frenworth Regional Airport which lets air traffic come and out to Frenworth. The neighbourhood houses the larger monorail system, and there is a route straight to the Frenworth Capitol (CFW) for easier travels
