Malware or false positive?

Hey! I downloaded an antivirus after feeling unsure if my computer might have caught some malware from downloading mods here and there for another game besides TheoTown, and when the scan finished, I was surprised to find out that some malware actually came from TheoTown! Of course, I removed the malware and opened the game to see if it ran fine, and yes, it runs fine. I don't know if it was due to a plugin, a false positive, or something like that. I should mention that the mods I downloaded for TheoTown were directly from the game's own mods section.

Those are false positives.

What you are referring to as mods are actually plugins and generally do not have full ability to interact with the host system. That's doubly true for plugins from the plugin store as they are all reviewed.
