Critical: game fails to Install on Motorola Moto G04 (Android 14), data download bug

I am reporting a confirmed installation bug on my Motorola Moto G04 (8GB RAM) running Android 14

On the Google Play Store. The download reaches 100% but then fails and restarts. This happens in Safe Mode and after clearing cache/data for Play Store, Download Manager, etc.

Using an APK (UptoDown)The APK installs, but the game fails to load its data and prompts for an update that never completes.

This proves the issue is not with my account or a simple glitch, but a specific compatibility bug between Theotown and the Moto G04's Android 14 build that prevents the game data from being successfully installed. Please investigate and release a compatible update

You're downloading from 3rd party websites which isnt allowed and makes you vulnerable to malaria. Also if you've had the game before and you kept the files, that might be the issue. I would recommend getting the game on the github than uptodown

Doesn't matter the site or app, such as Playstore Because it does the same thing. But I figured out it's a "Ghost Package". A corrupted Theotown Version that's on my phone but doesn't exist fully

yes i know what the issue is

usually if you install from an unknown source, they tend to hide files in your device and the game detects those when you install

the only way to trule fix it is to factory rest after acking up any data you need
then i ask you install the official one
