How do I expand the baseplates upwards without compromising their small size?

I am trying to make a JC3 gasoline tanks deco pack, and I have no idea how to not just expand the texture baseplate up, but also how to even program it in the first place. Can someone help me with the whole process?

There's bigger templates. Is it bigger than 8x8? Then you should really reconsider since very few things go beyond 8x8
