Not hard enough, simcity's hard mode is HELL, theotown is solved just by not wasting money in education, which eats a huge part of the budget, for me, leaving key spaces to place big schools that would cover most of the city did wonders, the rest is just slowly expanding

Also theotown doesn't have a "game over" screen, to get to a point where I couldn't do nothing I literally had to take 5 loans, spend them, then nuke the whole city, up to which point you can't get money in any way

I disagree, after the new beta update it is genuinely harder. Especially with influence buildings. My hard mode city went from +50k income to -22k because of the influence/monthly cost change. I was able to do some tweaks but only got it back to +9k. If i didn't have such a large Treasury id be needing to take out alot more loans.

If youd like to explain exactly what youd want to see in a "hardest" mode feel free, but your suggestion is super vague
