Firstly, Im Sorry for interrupt, because im new on this

im just bought the game while ago but when I played for the first time, I got a message like this

I clicked Ignore & proceed here, and I could play without any issues, but this bothers me, why does this pop-up appear when I want to play?

I mean like it says you can play the game still

#

For some reason it's trying to run as admin

#

Which prompts the warnings to remove those privileges

Is there a way to get rid of that warning?

its uncheck by default on my pc

I have also do checked > unchecked again and applied > ok, but the warning still appears

However, thank you for responding.

Hmm

#

I mean it really shouldn't hurt your gameplay...

#

But that is odd

Yes, actually it doesn't matter, it's just that the warning is a bit annoying when I open the game.

vale silo
#

Yeah I agree that would get annoying

#

Hopefully the dev can provide some insight

Whenever he comes back online

That warning exists because during installation phase, when the game is running as administrator, it creates save files that it can no longer read or write to once it's no longer running as administrator.

The solution would be to click "Don't show again" to suppress that warning forever. As for the actual solution, Steam is probably running as administrator which also runs the game as administrator. The solution would be to not run Steam as admin.

So the problem is from steam, i'll check later

Thank you! for your insight

#

Ah btw, the message is only appear on Theotown

Other games likely don't have that warning

#

The devs added that as a feature a while back
