#Game just refuses to start

Whenever I go to start the game (either via desktop or steam) it acts as if its starting then just... does not.. not really sure what to do about it lol, (I know this is a little vague I simply don't know what else to say and/or provide.)

TheoTown files are located under such directories:

  • Windows: C:\Users(insert username)\TheoTown or %USERPROFILE%\TheoTown
  • Linux: ~/TheoTown
  • MacOS: /user/TheoTown
  • Android: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/info.flowersoft.theotown.theotown/files
    By default you should be in /storage/emulated/0/. Uninstalling the game on Android will delete all files, unless you decide to keep the files when prompted by uninstaller. (android 11 onwards restricts access to external storage for apps, so if the files cannot be accessed this way, opt for the in-build manager explained below)
  • ios: Search "TheoTown" in the file manager app

If you cannot access game files through these directories, game has an in-built file manager for mobile devices which is accessible from the region view menu.

You can find your plugin, music, region and city files there as well as logs for debugging purposes.

There isnt any crash files, nor does it say the game crashed, the best i can describe it is as I said above, its not steam being funky because its only tt doing it, was on yesterday and havent touched, added, or changed anything since it just started doing it out of a blue.

Yep already tried, also decided to reinstall 64 bit java (didnt expect it to do anything just was out of ideas atp)

Yeah, and as I said before havent touched anything since, my apolgizes for not being able to provide any more context or whatnot I know it makes it harder for you there's just nothing more I can really say aside from what I already have lol

Ive gotta be doing something wrong lmao, I did as you said and also looked online to see if im just being a complete buffoon but it simply does not show anything whenever I type that into the command prompt.

Yeah just give my stupid computer like 3 minutes to load the all the apps, always takes so long no clue why I barely have any

Some progress, game started-->got to a certain point loading drafts-->then crashed, Do I need to reinstall java atp or do you need the logs and such.

Looks like we are back to normal, loaded just fine and game is running as it should be. I hate having to bother people with stuff like this lol, after like 20 minutes trying to solve it I simply got stumped, anyway thank you 🙏 I am no genius when it comes to this stuff

I have a sneaky suspicion of what may have caused it lol, Didnt expect it to affect tt needless to say Im not messing with lwjgl3ify in the future
