I’m not able to load a custom region with a custom image

I was trying to load a custom region with a custom image like the one seen above

But whenever I clicked on the image in my camera roll it didn’t appear on the top right corner of the screen where you will see the map of your region, instead it showed a randomly generated seed instead of the region I picked out.

I’ve tried reloading my game and my device but neither of these has helped.

Did you give all permissions to the game, especially accessing file storage. Go to your device checking and check the permissions

I gave the game all the necessary permissions, I’ve made custom regions with my own custom images in the past but now it doesn’t seem to work

I think the fact it's a jpeg file named png, might have something to do with it
